On this episode, we kickoff our Spring 2022 Season with Christina Calandra of the Maryland Terps Field Hockey Program. Christina joins Tim to discuss her experience in the InTERPship Academy last summer. The InTERPship Academy is a 8-week paid internship program for Maryland student-athletes to earn meaningful work experience.

Last summer, Christina completed her internship at First Touch, a digital media marketing company. She is currently majoring in Digital and Media Communications and minoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

On the season finale, the Maryland Made student-athlete development team (Resa Lovelace, Tim Bryson, Sophia Baur-Waisbord, Sydnee Strong, and Walt Pegues) recap the Fall 2021 Semester. They discuss some of their favorite moments and accomplishments of the semester. They also highlight the work and accomplishments of their student-athletes as well. On this episode, we continue our "More Than an Athlete" series with Hope Lewandoski  of the Maryland Terps Women's Soccer program. Hope reflects on her time as a student-athlete at UMD and she discusses how Maryland MAde has prepared her for success beyond the field.

Hope completed her final soccer season at Maryland this Fall. She graduated from the School of Public Health with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a General Business Minor, and she is currently completing her masters in Business and Management. 

Hope recently started a role as an Administrative Assistant in the George Washington University Athletic Department.

Bibi shares her experience as an international student-athlete, as she is from the Netherlands. She also dives into her career readiness journey as a pre-med student-athlete, and her involvement in a variety of Maryland Made programs such as Gossett Fellows, Worldwide Terps, and Pre-Health Terps.

Bibi is a Senior, all-conference Midfielder on the Terps field hockey team. Bibi is a pre-med, general biology and psychology double major.
