We pick up with Shanks making his way into Granz City under the disguise and alias of Brian. He comes into contact with the Tell-Tale Guild and gets an unexpected meeting with Attros’ late wife Lenore, alive and seemingly the new leader of the guild. Shanks offers his aid to her in exchange for them not turning him for the hefty bounty on his head. There is a lot of layered discussions eventually leading to faith and Lenore speaking on her patron, Elrin. Through meditation, Shanks meets Elrin, and a deal is made. Meanwhile, the rest of the party is on route to Granz City themselves to meet with Argo and request the aid of the Shuffle Guild. There’s so much happening and that’s where we pick up…

While the group who are at the Shuffle Guild finish their night of drinking and revelry… Galadoriel is on her way to the Seelie Court, to speak to Oberon. Upon arrival, she is given information that would aid the party in their quest to save the planes. In her discussion with the King of the Seelie Court, she informs him that she has ceased her search for her father and tells him that her family is with the party. With that, she leaves and enters the tavern again. Greeted by a faun who hands her an envelope that says “Quill” and asks that she deliver it to Quill. She has agreed and reconnects with the rest of the party, now having breakfast after a morning of pranks and “team bonding”. That’s where we pick up…

The group finds themselves with several members of The Shuffle Guild: Qho, an Aarakocra; Gojun, a Triton; Kivela, a Shifter; Inia, a Yuan-ti and Strohm, a Changeling. They exchange information and familiarize themselves with each other. Information is exchanged about Shank’s current bounty, the other odd happenings on Granzia, and catch up the Guild members on what happened on Zechs’ first job. They agree to take the night to rest and revel. Just as Strohm pours out drinks for everyone, Inia and Gojun bring Zechs upstairs for a debrief, as is standard protocol. He describes as best as he can, the last few weeks of his life and lets them know just what they’re up against.

While most of the group decides to head to the city of Belrondis, Shanks goes off on his own adventure. While there he meets a mysterious figure who introduces himself as Mr. Bell. Together they dig deep into Shanks's psyche, upbringing, and what led him to where he is now. Meanwhile, the group has some horse races to let off some steam. Eventually, they finally arrive at the Shuffle Guild of Belrondis and meet an Aarakocra named Qho. That’s where we pick up the next leg of this adventure.

After spending some time discussing what they would do going forward, the party spends a night of rest in the Cascade. For most, sleep is met with thoughts of their journey so far. For others, their thoughts are filled with visions of what's to come. The Journeyman fills them in on The Constable's plans to merge their planes, ultimately destroying them. The group wraps up the last bit of loose ends in Barovia and begins to depart on the next leg of their adventure. Not without, of course, picking up the armor that was promised to Galahad in the very beginning. Armor worthy of a Paladin of Bahamut. Now, they venture forth as "The Heroes of Barovia" and start the quest to save all their homes.

Attros did what he felt that he needed to do and in the end, The Curse of Strahd was lifted, but at what cost? The party narrowly escapes, but We Aqua and Attros are nowhere to be found. The Journeyman picks them up and begins to do a headcount. The group informs her of what transpired. The drinks flow, some go off on their own, and others air out grievances with each other. Emotions are high, but the energy is low. This was certainly not the way they wanted to win. With that, we find ourselves in the next part of their adventure. At the end of one story and the beginning of another.

We are in the midst of the battle for this upcoming episode. We find Kaleb, who in earlier episodes was with the group but seemingly disappeared, at the side of Strahd. Red Wyrmlings as well as Ireena are at Strahd’s side as the group has some back-and-forth with the ruler of Barovia. Zechs who wants nothing more than to get this fight over with, fires off a shot towards Strahd. Attros attempts to intercept, but Shanks beats him to it, shooting Zechs’ arrow out of the sky with his own. In frustration, Zechs fires again and the battle is underway! Kassimir and We'ahqa seemingly slip out and head towards the crypts. Attros goes invisible and Galahad approaches Strahd. Shanks is polymorphed into a badger. Kyver and Arguile are being harried by a wyrmling. There is something happening everywhere you look. How will this all turn out? Will the group come out victorious or will Strahd kill another adventuring party, yet again?
