An examination of the mysterious 1964 “Solway Spaceman” incident. UK resident Jim Templeton snapped a picture of his five-year-old daughter Elizabeth on a grassy hill in the area of the Burgh Marsh along the Solway Firth in 1964. When he developed the film, he discovered an apparent astronaut in the picture standing behind his daughter. The problem, however, is that Templeton claimed nobody else was there when he shot the picture. The photograph became an international news sensation, and eventually attracted the mysterious Men in Black.
