In 1997 Nicola Allen and her husband, Aldwin, bought a historic house. They loved the house, but not the high-crime neighborhood. 

Aicha was eight years old when she became an orphan. To make matters worse, her bowed legs made it difficult for her to walk.  

Smelling blood, the tiger stalked the small band of wounded American soldiers on a jungle hilltop. But the tiger was a good thing.  

Mercy Ships provides more than immediate medical and surgical care in the countries we serve. We provide training for local healthcare professionals.
