Leonard Gigowski grew up in Milwaukee and attended St. Thomas More High School.

The crewmembers onboard our hospital ship come from over 50 nations.

The tumor began on the inside of Olivienne’s mouth and grew. The family spent two years’ wages on unsuccessful surgeries.  

Someone broke into Shawn’s truck and stole a number of items.  But the most devastating loss was a very special flag belonging to his son, Marine Lance Corporal Joe Jackson. 

Most Saturdays, women from our Mercy Ship piled into a Land Rover and headed to a Madagascar women’s prison.  

It was rush hour in San Angelo, Texas. Heather was driving with her daughter and son in the back seat. 

The dock alongside our Mercy Ship is a hub of activity — patients arriving for screening, admissions, rehab, and outpatient check-up.   

Volunteer Martha Rodriguez oversaw the Madagascar Hospital Out-Patient Extension Center — called HOPE Center for short.  

John George grew up in a Detroit neighborhood of good, hardworking people.
