In August of 1999 two friends on a trip across country stopped for a night in the Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
The trip would soon take a horrific turn, and only one of the men would make it out of the park alive.
Although the surviving friend admitted to killing his other friend was it in fact as he said it was- a mercy killing?
