How to stop feeling so far from God:

1. Talk to God honestly
2. Stop performing in your faith be real.
3. Create space for daily connection
4. Return to God's word slowly

Don't believe what you are feeling when it comes to feeling far from the Lord. Our feelings are not facts! God is with you every moment of the day you just have to be willing to reach out.

Join Seirra McCracken, your host as she shares the importance of knowing where your seed falls when it comes to your faith. Matthew 13:1-23 are the Bible verses that Seirra focuses on in the episode.

Different seeds:

1. Seed that fell on the path. Someone who doesn't understand or believe the gospel.
2. Seed that fell on rocky ground. Someone who receives the gospel but when troubles come they stop believing.
3. Seed falling among thorns. Someone who hears the gospel but is too focused on worldly things that they don't do anything with their faith.
4. Seed falling on good soil. Someone who hears the gospel and understands it and makes disciples.

It is important to sit and reflect on which type of seed you are and see if you need to change. We should all strive to be a seed on good soil. If there are people in your life that aren't on good soil but you would like them to be I encourage you to pray for them. Prayer is powerful!

This year Seirra's word of the year was trust and God worked through it in many ways. Her word of the year for 2026 is Proverbs 31 Woman and she cannot wait to see the ways the Lord works through it next year.

Ways to Implement Your Word of the Year:

1. Get a prayer journal with the word on it

2. Fill out prompts at the front of the journal

3. Create a word of the year board

4. Pick out memory verses that correlate with the word

5. Constantly pray over the word

6. Pick a book in the Bible to study or find devotionals that go with the word

Take some time with God and choose a word of the year for 2026. By the end of the year, you will be amazed at the ways He works through it.
