The Bible shows us that it is okay to have real raw emotions. There are many times that people cry out to God in the Bible that they show their fear, questioning, or sadness to the Lord. Even Jesus was found weeping. God doesn’t ask us to not have emotion but we shouldn’t let our emotions overcome us.

You can be both blessed and stressed.

Join Seirra McCracken, your host, as she discusses how to trust God and show up for your friends when they are getting the answered prayer that you wish you were getting. Sometimes we will be surrounded by friends who are getting an answered prayer that God is telling us we have to wait for. It can be easy to question God and want to take a step back from those friends, but that is not the way to handle it! We must trust in the Lord because His plan is greater than our own.

How to Trust God through this Time:

1. Know that delay is not denial

2. Anchor yourself in the truth

3. Talk to God and lay it at His feet

4. Hold onto the bigger picture

Know that even though your friends received this answer, prayer doesn’t mean they do not need you to continue to be there for them and pray for them. They are stepping into a new season and need you to be there for them. It is not fair to drop someone just because they got to a mountain top before you. Grow in this waiting season. Trust God and show up for your friends.

Look into the ways that God is asking you to declutter your spiritual life because He has a reason He wants you to make those changes. Trust God and trust the process. Decluttering can be hard but it also can be beneficial to our lives in many ways.
