The Micah Hanks Program

Earlier this year, a 64-page proposal to bring about the disclosure of information on what the U.S. government calls unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) was introduced by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD). However, in a potential blow to UAP disclosure efforts, recent pushback from House leadership appeared to be set to severely limit the bill, if not stop it altogether.

Now, as the empire strikes back, there is nonetheless hope on the horizon, as Senators Schumer and Rounds are speaking out about the bill passing, as well as the work that is yet to be done in future legislation geared toward UAP disclosure. This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we look at all the latest developments, as well as what one famous UAP whistleblower has had to say on the matter of UAP transparency in Washington.

Have you had a UFO/UAP sighting? Please consider sending us your sighting report, which may be of great importance to our scientific understanding of these phenomena. In the early morning hours of October 24, 1968, witnesses at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, which included security personnel at the installation's intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch complex, maintenance staff, the crew aboard an airborne B-52H, all participated in one of the most significant UFO incidents ever to have occurred at high-security United States military base.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we take a deep dive into the Minot Air Force Base UFO incident, one of the most significant UAP cases associated with U.S. strategic nuclear weapons facilities, as well as what its implications are, and why it remains influential even today as lawmakers in Washington continue the battle for UAP transparency.

There's trouble brewing on Capitol Hill, as a group of top lawmakers are banding together to attempt to block the UAP Disclosure Act of 2023, potentially one of the most significant pieces of legislation related to government and UFO transparency in the history of the U.S., from ever becoming law.

Joining us to discuss the fight for UAP transparency is Daniel Sheehan, a constitutional and public interest lawyer, political activist and educator who has participated in several legal cases of public interest, including the Pentagon Papers and the Watergate Break-In case. Sheehan joins us, along with Kevin Wright, a public issue advocate, founder of Solve Advocacy, and Director of Public Relations for the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies (SCU) to outline the current fight over the UAP Disclosure Amendment, and what it means for the effort to end decades of government stonewalling on UAP secrecy.

"The time has come for serious, well-funded, and cutting-edge academic research into the nature of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and their broad cosmological and political implications." So reads a statement appearing on the website of the Sol Foundation, a new California-based think tank that has positioned itself to become "a premier center for UAP research."

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, Micah reports on the Sol Foundation's first annual event that was recently held at Stanford University, which he and several colleagues attended, along with many of the biggest names in the field of UAP study. We provide a comprehensive overview of the event, those who attended from government and academia, and also the big issues that were discussed at this groundbreaking event.

Recent revelations by government whistleblowers are raising questions about whether the United States and other nations could have information about the existence of non-human intelligence, or NHI, which has been suppressed for decades. Although recent legislation in America are aimed at bringing such information, if it exists, into the light of day, nations like the United Kingdom appear to have shown no similar movement on the issue.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we are joined by an international panel composed of physicist and former UK civil servant John Priestland and Daniel Stubbings, Ph.D., both of whom are behind a new UK-based initiative called uNHIdden that aims to promote good mental health and reduce anxiety on the issue of non-human intelligence. Also joining the program is a return guest, Ted Roe, who is director of the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NARCAP) and the UAP Medical Coalition; our guests engage in an in-depth discussion about NHI, and how to move the discussion about it forward.

Are we alone in the universe? Could intelligent aliens exist somewhere in the cosmos, and how close are we to finally discovering them? Or is it even possible that intelligent aliens are already in our own back yard, and have been visiting Earth, as evidenced by decades of sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena, or UFOs?

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we are joined by astrophysicist Adam Frank, a leading expert on the final stages of evolution for stars like the sun and one of the leaders of the Categorizing Atmospheric Technosignatures (CATS) project. Frank is also author of "The Little Book of Aliens," and joins us to discuss SETI, UAP, and the search for alien life throughout the cosmos.

Autumn fills the air, and of all the things that frighten us, some of the most terrifying are those which involve "the terrors next door," and the lurking fears of the everyday. Yet there are also stories involving stranger things... encounters with odd individuals that don't seem to have a place in our consensus reality. Can science explain these experiences, or is there something more complex involved?

In this special Halloween 2023 installment of The Micah Hanks Program, after news involving alleged hauntings and exorcisms, examine a collection of terrors and odd tales, ranging from horrific murders that happened very close to home for our haunted host back in the 1990s. We then suspend our disbelief as we shift our attention toward unreal experiences from over the decades where people have described visits with entities hailing "from beyond." Who are these mysterious visitors... Ghosts? Extraterrestrials? Time travelers? Or do they represent something else entirely?

A classified report detailing the Pentagon's latest findings in its ongoing investigations into unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP, has been delivered to Congress, according to a statement issued by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) last week.

For the rest of us, an unclassified version of the 2023 Annual Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena was made available on the website of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), but to limited fanfare from UFO advocates online. This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we provide an in-depth analysis of the 2023 UAP report and highlight the key takeaways many missed, along with several historical UAP reports submitted by our listeners.

At England's famous Stonehenge, new analysis of one of the site's most enigmatic features has revealed the extraordinary lengths its ancient builders were willing to go in order to construct the world-famous monument. Elsewhere, in the American southwest, footprints left in the sands of time are revealing some of the earliest human arrivals, and much more about the hidden history of humanity.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we look at these and other "impossible" discoveries that are being revealed in the latest scientific developments at England's Stonehenge, as well as mysteries in America and Africa that are pushing back the timescales on early human achievements.

For decades, sightings of unusual aerial phenomena have been logged by observers from around the world. Yet in only a handful of the countless number of sightings, observations of strange, tangent phenomena--including sightings of possible UAP occupants--have also been reported.

This week on The Micah Hanks Program, we examine a series of UAP incidents involving the observation of an unusual figure during a 1967 encounter in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as a pair of multiple witness military UAP sightings reported by a former member of the Air National Guard, who shares his recollections about these uncanny encounters with anomalous phenomena.
