The Micah Hanks Program

This week on The Gralien Report, as we celebrate Independence Day 2017, Micah and Matthew take a moment to reflect on misconceptions about the holiday, before looking at the news. Items of discussion include an unusual plane crash that occurred over the weekend, as well as how dinosaurs and their extinction paved the way for a familiar amphibian. And what is the mystery of the phone call Micah received in the wee hours of the morning from Roswell, New Mexico?

In the second hour, Matt gives us some history about Albert Herpin, the man who never slept. Is it really possible for a person not to sleep at all throughout their lives? Finally, we conclude the show with a lengthy discussion about the secret awareness of plants, and how the flora around us may be far more in tune with its environment than we give them credit. Could there even be things about plant awareness that we may learn, which could give us further insights into our own hidden potential as humans?

This week on The Gralien Report, we discuss one of the most compelling sea serpent reports in the history, which was seen at Stinson Beach, California, in 1983.

This post, TGR 06.26.17. The Sea Serpent: Monsters in Our Oceans?, first appeared at The Gralien Report.

This week on The Gralien Report, we kick things off with news of a fourth great white carcass, which has washed up in South Africa with its liver missing. Scientists say this occurred “with surgical precision,” but what is the underlying cause? Also, Russia has launched a “mystery military probe” into orbit from the edge of the Arctic, while further south, a “massive” collection of Nazi Artifacts have been found in a hidden room in Argentina. Finally, a team of researchers are hoping to use forensic dogs to solve the mystery of Amelia Earhart. Will this expedition finally solve the enduring mystery of the missing aviator?

Then in Hour Two, we shift gears and spend a bit of time discussing the latest alleged proof of “alien life” on Earth, while Micah asks what aliens would REALLY have to say about humans, if only we could listen in on one of their conversations. Then we spend some time looking at one of the most convincing reports of an alleged “sea serpent”, seen off the California coast in 1983. While science has yet to prove that anything like a sea serpent exists, countless witness reports from over the last several centuries would seem to suggest that there could, in fact, be some large, snake-like creature that exists in oceans around the world. Could there be any more to the sea serpent than just popular mythology and legends?

This week on The Gralien Report, we discuss new, obviously fake documents dealing with UFOs and Majestic 12, and why the study of such hoaxes is important.

This post, TGR 06.19.17. Majestic 12: "Bunk" From the Dead?, first appeared at The Gralien Report.

This week on The Gralien Report, Micah brings us a full report from his attendance of a lecture by Neil DeGrass Tyson, which spurs some spirited discussion on science, philosophy, and the pursuit of knowledge. Trending in the news, we take a look at China’s groundbreaking experiment with a “quantum satellite”, as well as what Australian researchers have drudged up from the depths of the ocean.

Then in Hour Two, an alleged “secret document” turned up online late last week, which purportedly ties in with the decades-old “Majestic 12” affair, making some rather bold claims about a number of disputed classic UFO incidents. Researcher Nick Redfern joins us live via the Lone Star State to tell us why these documents are completely fake, and why the entire Majestic 12 and Roswell affairs just won’t ever seem to go away.

On this week's podcast, we look at "Asgardia," a proposed off-planet colony that would resemble an advanced "breakaway civilization", and other odd topics in the news.

This post, TGR 06.12.17. The Coming Breakaway Civilization, first appeared at The Gralien Report.

This week on The Gralien Report, on the heels of (more) news that pushes back the discoveries of early humans by another 100,000 years, we also look at a recent court case which ruled that chimpanzees cannot be considered “persons”. Also in news of our primate kindred, what was seen stalking the forests of Southern California recently?

We then turn our attention to the so-called “Lazarus Phenomenon”, where individuals that were pronounced clinically dead have been found to still be alive, sometimes hours after their “death.” Does this phenomenon call into question what we think we know about death? Then the Reverend Oakley brings us a surprise segment, where he asks Micah to “fact check” an article on Roswell, which supposes the entire thing can be explained by “Project Mogul”, a once-secret USAF project. While this is certainly plausible, are there other theories worth considering as well, and how does this play into the ongoing debate over things like “fake news”?

Finally, we look at how one group of scientists hopes to institute an off-planet nation, named “Asgardia” after the famous home of Thor, Loki, Odin, and other Norse gods. To the boys in the bunker, however, this is sounding rather familiar… in fact, it almost mirror’s researcher Richard Dolan’s ideas about a “breakaway civilization.” We explore all of this, and more, on this week’s Gralien Report Podcast.

This week's podcast discusses untold stories of physicians and medical practitioners, and their encounters with the unexplained.

This week on The Gralien Report, we take a moment to revisit one of the most popular urban legends from the area of Fouke Arkansas, before making the comparison between this legendary tale of a “monster” and a recent sighting of a “feral looking man” in Wales. Elsewhere, several Brazilian residents have been suffering a spate of vampire bat attacks, and further below sea level, a “faceless” fish was recently discovered during a deep sea expedition off the Australian coast.

This week on The Gralien Report, we look at famous celebrities who have put millions behind their obsession with UFOs, as well as notable sightings of unusual flying objects.
