This week on The Gralien Report we examine the traditions surrounding Groundhog Day, as well as a special segment where we look at some of the most unsettling ghost stories we've come across.

This week on The Gralien Report Podcast, we celebrate that most esoteric of all holidays, Groundhog Day, as we ask, Did Punxsutawney Phil See His Shadow? Elsewhere, the National Weather Service made their own predictions about what the weather might do in the coming weeks… and if you manage to work up an appetite in the meantime, back in the old days, just remember that Groundhog Day involved eating the groundhog… bon appétit!

Before we wrap up hour one, Scotty Roberts joins us to discuss an exciting announcement: The Ancient Megaliths & Sacred Spaces tour of Ireland, this June 12 – 23, 2015. Is there more behind the many myths and legends of the Emerald Isle? Learn more about this exciting adventure at the Exodus Reality Tours website.

Finally in the last hour of this week’s trip, we change gears and delve into the realm of the supernatural… do ghosts exist, and if so, what are they? The Graliens share reports of ghostly happenings from our listeners, as well as personal experiences they’ve shared over the years, along with a look at humanity’s famous ghost stories from past to present. Is there anything more to ghosts and stories about them than pure myth? The many encounters we’ll examine here may leave you thinking so…

UFO research, ESP, and media biases toward these subjects are discussed, as well as strange disappearances and human mutilations with researcher Butch Witkowski.

Micah is having fun with the media this week, as we look at the fact that “newly released” Project Blue Book files were actually available for years already… although we’re glad that John Greenwald and the Blue Book files are getting some much-deserved attention in the mainstream. Then we skip over to the discussion about how the Washington Post may have been using knowledge of atrocious practices in the 1940s, carried out by the Canadian government against indigenous people, to fuel an argument against ESP research. Does this betray bias on their part?

In hour two, we are joined by researcher and retired law enforcement officer Butch Witkowski, who discusses strange cases where people go missing and, in many instances, are never found. What could lay behind these disappearances? We also look closely at the truly unsettling case of Todd Sees, a man who went missing for a short period, and whose body turned up again under very curious circumstances. Witkowski counts it among the strangest cases of human disappearances and possible mutilations he has ever studied… what circumstances actually led to the death of Todd Sees?

In honor of Martin Luther King Day, we will examine the James Earl Ray "conspiracy" claims, as well as a discussion about UFOs with exopolitical lobbyist Steve Bassett.

This post, 01.19.15. MLK and UFO Disclosure on The Gralien Report, first appeared at The Gralien Report.

This week on The Gralien Report, in honor of Martin Luther King Day, we will examine the strange and tragic affair that comprised King’s assassination, and how James Earl Ray claimed after his capture that he had been part of a broader conspiracy. Is there any legitimacy to this claim, or the idea that Ray was assisted by a mysterious character called “Raoul”?

Then later in the program, we change gears a bit and offer a slightly different perspective from our discussion last week with guests Greg Bishop and Paul Kimball, as exopolitical lobbyist Steve Bassett joins us for a segment to discuss UFO disclosure, and why he feels government transparency is important for UFO research. Is there evidence that the government has withheld information on UFOs from the public?

Greg Bishop and Paul Kimball join the program to discuss the current state of UFO research, and what can be done to more effectively study unexplained aerial phenomenon.

This week on The Gralien Report, what was the mile-wide “scar” found in Eastern Antarctica? Also, the legend of Atlantis and other offerings are on the table, along with a unique perspective on alien life submitted by one of our many erudite and noble scholars among the listening audience.

Then in hour two, a pair of our favorite commentators on the UFO subject, Greg Bishop and Paul Kimball, join the show to discuss the current state of the field, and what can be done to more effectively study unexplained aerial phenomenon. At times, both of these gentlemen have taken rather pointed–perhaps harsh–stances toward the idea of modern “ufology”… is it warranted? Micah thinks so…
