Today we'll start Firearms Friday off with a bang with Dr Cohn Lott from the Crime Prevention Research Center (crimeresearch.org). We'll talk statistics, crime, violence & more.

Then in hour two I'll recap with some of my own thoughts and maybe some of your phone calls as well. Then as usual, we'll finish up with our weekend entertainment and movie review with Willie Waffle.

Today we've got a full show, starting off in hour one with Suzanne Downing from The Alaska Story talking about today's upcoming vote on the gasline bill and the Decoy Dan situation.

Today we get a surprise guest in hour one from the USPS talking about happenings on the Kenai Peninsula. We'll also cover a lot of headlines, including the scuttlebutt on the latest version of the Conf committee bill.

We'll also open up the phone lines and talk with listeners to see where there at on their confidence in the future of the State.

Then in hour two we'll spend the first part of the hour talking with Top Shot Chris Cheng about his new book and the launch of his kickstarter campaign. Then we'll finish up with Williie Waffle for our weekend entertainment review.

Today we'll start hour one with a sit down with Rep Kevin McCabe from the Big Lake area. We'll recap the second special session so far and his thoughts on where we end up. We'll also discuss his dissent on the Ethics committee decision on Sarah Vance.

Then in hour two we'll visit with John Hendrix, the owner of HEX energy about the future of the Cook Inlet and AKLNG. What is HEX doing to expand there and is there a problem and where do we go when and if the line is built.
