The Midday Show with Andy and Randy - February 26, 2024 - FULL SHOW

Join Andy, Randy, Beau, and Eric Slaughter for a relaxing conversation about beach vacations, hoarding, and DIY'ing. NSFW

In hour 1 Andy and Randy talk about the recent bad news regarding Trae Young, and new Georgia State Head Coach Dell McGee joins the show!

In hour 3 Andy and Randy get back in to the Falcons and what the options may be for them in the draft, and what do the Hawks do now?

The Hawks got some very bad news over the weekend: Trae Young will mot be available for at least four weeks due to an injury to his pinky finger. Following this news, the Hawks beat the Orlando Magic Sunday night, and this has people talking. Are the Hawks better without Trae Young? No. They actually have a horrible record without him. If there is to be any expectation of the playoffs this season, the Hawks  desperately need Trae Young back, but Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael aren't so positive that that is going to happen.

Georgia State Head Coach Dell McGee joins Andy and Randy to talk about his new role as head coach, spring recruiting, and the expectations this season for Georgia State football.

From 'Baseball Isn't Boring' (subscribe here): Rob Bradford catches up with the undeniable MVP of 2023 Spring Training, Braves first baseman Matt Olson. Olson led the majors last year with eight Spring Training homers while possessing a mammoth OPS of 1.500. In the conversation, he explains what translates and what doesn't when it comes to dominating the month of March heading into the real games. Also part of the podcast is a similar talk with Romy Gonzalez, who made the White Sox Opening Day lineup a year ago after blasting six spring training homers. It's a worthwhile listen as we fend off spring training overreaction.
