  If anybody hit it big in Vegas last weekend it's your favorite mid-tier podcast boys! We dive right into things with some possibly popping headlines. We then start the usual top-down breakdown of each team's performance. Checo puts The Midfield Podcast back in the lead for the P10 Challenge. Feather's and parts fly, boots get squishy, it's a right good time!

23:10 - So Midfield he gets his own transition! It's our favorite Mexican Midfielder, Sergio Perez. Our P10 winner, AND the man who placed The Midfield Podcast BACK on top of the P10 Challenge leaderboard. Dan had the feelin', the ju-ju in his bones, as we continue our march toward mediocre excellence.

35:50 - We do the thing! It's everybody's favorite thing! It's that thing where we Say Something Nice! We toss around a few hypothetical new career choices for our favorite Canadian boy. Dan keeps us all juicy, juiced up, if you will, with his breakdown of the Haas performance.

47:35 - L-Pine does L-Pine stuff, yada yada. We get into VCARB who's got their elbows out against Haas for the place that the Frenchies stole in Brazil. Who will get the points in the remaining races? Not L-Pine, or WALLiams, that's all we're trying to say here... We do a lil' Grand Prix-view, as we look forward to Qatar and throw down a couple BOLDIES. Gonna get toasty!

  Welcome back Midfielders! We are a few days from lights-out in Lost Wages. Will it be as unpredictable and chaotic as last year, or have we ironed out a few wrinkles in the procedures? Dan and Patrick have a few fun games for each other, as we get to know some of the new drivers joining next year's grid. Buckle up buttercup! Hold on to your hat! Don't count your chickens, is that toast?

 18:50 - Another game?! Have we lost our minds?! Likely, but it's an oldie and a goodie. So good, it doesn't have a name yet. It sort of Pops, maybe. We break down the latest headlines in the world of F1. So Midfield, so demure.

30:40 - The boys get into what lies ahead in Nevada, by looking back to last years fiasco. With the midfield getting some solid action and placing high in last year's race, will we have the same high-speed, tire-melting craziness as before? The Pirelli Track Preview has the track heating up as much as our shorts.

We made it happen! The Williams of podcasting scrapes together another bye-week episode, battling illness and scheduling combined, and this one's a still banger folks. Patty shows his 2025 driver lineup knowledge, and someone earns the dreaded "double-ding"! Buckle-up buckeroos!

2:40 - Dan gets down with Georgie Porgie on the latest statement from the Grand Prix Drivers Association, and boy is it a zinger. We need to use our nice words, on both sides of the argument. Hints of FIFA, and that's above our pay grade for sure. Tip of the cap to Brundle and Al Michaels, no notes!

22:10 - Next year's driver lineup! We start it off easy with Patty's favorite red cars, but how will he fare as we make our way down the grid? Will he remember his notes from the Schlough Sheet? Have several weeks of Questionable Trivia boosted his knowledge? Place your bets now!

45:38 - We start our deep dive on our newbies to the grid. Dan gives us some background info on our boy Franco. Dan provides some sources for his facts and we discuss eligibility 

54:16 - Time to give you a tasty piece on one of our favorite CURRENT newbies, Lance Bass Pro Shops! Stickin' to his VCARB seat for next year, will he continue to push the conversation for the blue cars' no.2 seat? We divvy up the workload for next week's dives.

Welcome back Midfielders!
  Whew! What a wet 'n wild weekend it was. We get right into the action talking nerds and water displacement, wow wow wee-wow! Dan's got some two truths and a lie for each of the teams down the grid for Patty to sleuth out. Faaantastic!

13:35 - The Mercs! For a team that usually does just fine in the rain, (friggen Brit drivers) they only pull a 4-10. Porgie had a good shot early, but like our papaya boy, didn't quite get the strat right. Louie got to have some fun in Senna's car, and that's probably the only fun he had in a car all weekend as his Mercedes beat the tar out of him, pretty much all weekend.

17:34 - Two truths and a who gives a S#%@, it's Aston Martin! A give up before the race, and a real "tough guy" radio call from the other. We argue semantics, and manage to squeeze in Something Nice. Will these guys be able to hold the lead they built over the rest of the Kirkland band midfield with their recent downturn in performance? We're not gonna talk about that, moving on!

34:50 - VCARB! I said VCARB Patty pay attention! A good weekend from these midfielders. Lawson was our guy for the P10 challenge and good ol' LBPS done us good! Atta boy Earl! Ollie Bearman does his due diligence in a Haas and picks up 2 penalty points. Can't wait to see his new Bad Boyz tattoo!

44:35 - Williams! These guys do more rebuilds than the Jacksonville Jaguars. Arguably the most expensive team on the grid this season, but hey it's quantity over quality here. Another huge bummer for one of our favorite teams, hopefully they'll patch some things together after a little break and put the goodfoot forward for the last few races.

55:35 - Race direction? Dan's got some notes... We talk consistency, conspiracy, and safety. How does one actually start a race in the rain when someone crashes on the formation lap? Throw a tin of Copenhagen off the bridge and see who jumps!

27:45 It's real, it's genuine, and it's from the bottom of our hearts; it's time to say something nice! It happened to be our Canadian friend's birthday, and as usual we're "Midfield Nice". We toss up the idea of a new segment, Racecar Astrology!

32:50 - We say goodbye to our dearest Ashleigh and get right back into the action. A little more trivia-esque back and forth about our Kirkland brand Midfield. We talk hand-gestures and mouthbreathers. We got Earl ready to rock in the VCARB! He IS Patrick's boy.

53:35 - Dan busts out the Pirelli preview for Brazil. We talk new asphalt and increased abrasiveness! A little banter about sprint weekends and then we make a couple BOLDIES. Patty's seein' red going for the triple double and Dano thinks the Hulk is going to un-Hulk. Whatever happens it's gonna be a fun weekend on the track.

Bada bing, bada boom!
  We're back midfielders! It's been a grip, but we're back for another recap after a big weekend of racing. Let's waste no time, and get right to the goodies, before we cancel ourselves..

0:00 - Intros/ 'Rari lockout baby! Red cars go fast! We spend more than enough time talking about the top team of this race, and maybe dip into the constructors champs and yada yada. Big take-away, Patrick enjoys seeing tearful Italian men, so there's that.

14:40 - The Mercs! A tough weekend for our silver arrows. One wall, one gravel trap, these guys are a pretty easy breakdown this week. It's a bummer to see a couple of our favorite midfielders take one on the chin, but Georgie still made something happen in the end.

22:20 - We hit up the team that shares our livery, and are dragged into, yet again, saying something nice about our favorite Canadian. We discuss some new ideas for race penalties, and get all juiced up over our Haas boys as usual. We touch on VCARB, and the excitement we have for Yuki's future.

40:45 - Williams baby. Franco baby. The boys agree, the new young drivers have turned up the heat on guys like Albon. Patty does some averages and loves him some Colapinto! The fastest lap debacle, oh boyyy.....

56:55 - Rewind just a hot minute or so to catch our BOLDIES! Dan takes us into the Pirelli track preview and we get into our opinions of the Mexico City GP. It's a vibe thing. We're down. Patrick's looking for his poncho right now.

61:15 - Questionable trivia?! Again?! Ho-ho, but this time it's for YOU the listener! That's right Dan's got big prizes ready to give away, to the winner of this week's round of trivia.   Just a few days from another race weekend! Finally! And it's a reasonable hour for us Americans, how 'bout that? We got one more dose of Questionable Trivia to choke down before we head down to Texas for a sprint weekend. We're ready to get back into racing, so let go!

4:59 - We break into the Questionable Trivia. Only 2 categories this week, but we've got some not-so-daily double-point-value questions. Patrick as usual, wins no money for anyone or anything, but maybe you can do better hollering into your podcast listening device. Dan's clues are whack!

23:30 - We talk COTA baby! It's been near a month without the sound of loud engines and whatever the French team put under their hood. We talk upgrades and penalties and who's bringing the juice to Texas, for the double-race sprint weekend.

37:40 - Trophy talk! We got a new trophy design for Texas and we've got some notes. Patrick pretty much nails the description. Dan blames the entire nation of Hungary. Well just the vase situation.   We had a wild weekend away from race cars, and from each other! We share some travel stories, give a little nod to our boy Danny Ric, and then get right back into that which you love; our mediocre takes on the F1 midfield action! And here it is!

8:00 - We start it out hot with Questionable trivia. Patty doesn't do quite as well as last week, but still mediocre, which is what we love. He's still petitioning some of the questions on the basis of the wording, but it will come to no avail. Can you beat Patrick's Kirkland brand score? It's not too hard.

23:25 - Getchur pencils, getchur books! It's time for F-101 sucka! Professor Dan takes us through the penalties and what they mean/their significance come race day. Of course we're gonna take another shot at PMag.

27:20 - We gots another shout out! While Patrick's working on his trivia skills, Dan's working on his shout out skills. Baby steps. 

As this episode releases hurricane Milton will be wreaking havoc through Florida. Our hearts go out to those stuck in the storms path, and we pray for the best.

  A snoozer?! What're you guys talkin' 'bout?! Dan and our constituents on Threads are bashing this recent race in Singapore. We got Hot, we got Not, we got it all, except 2 top teams and 2 bottom teams, cause this is The Midfield baby! Let's get into it!

0:00 - Intros/ Ferrari. Good but bad. On again off again. Off again on again. I believe we call that blinking. We compare the Italians to the highlighter cars, and then to a Lego car. Maybe take your sweet car, and your top drivers and do something worthwhile? Maybe? It MIGHT happen..

8:30 - The Silver Arrows! Car looked great, drive looked mediocre to be honest. We think this might be the peak of the mountain for Mercedes this year. They're always around to pick up the scraps. Toto and the boys seem to be grasping at straws and throwing the Hail Mary's, and we're all for it. Let 'er rip, tater chip!

17:35 - It's everybody's favorite segment! We Say Something Nice about our favorite Canadian driver. It's getting tougher, but we're pretty creative. We get into VCARB and all the juicy drama. Danny? Out. Yuki? Still Yuki. We think it's time to lay down the Lawson come COTA.

25:53 - Our bad boys are back at it! Hulkster for the P10 pick. PMag is free and clear and loving life, penalty-free after his recent race ban. Quite vocal about it too in fact. The bouncer of the midfield is revealed, and he's a force to reckoned with, leather jacket and all.

30:10 - Williams! Patty's changed his tune mightily! Frankie's got these guys hummin', and we're on board. Dan's been on board most of the season, but it's been tough with Logie dragging down the team. More points in 2 races than Logan in 36? Dude's trying to tango with the top teams in a Williams. Bad. Ass. The L-Pines are out.

37:10 - Gyro cam! SO sick. Favorite camera of all time. Patty loves Singapore, Dan's not as impressed. Aesthetically pleasing, but at the cost of exciting racing? Clearly the heat has severe impact, maybe we reign it in a lil bit? Shout outs baby!
