The Migs Cast

This week we welcome Glenn back as he shares some incredible words about his friend, Joel, who passed away due to a motorcycle accident.  We also welcome back Red The Stripper and catch up with everything going on in her world.  The fellas call Mama Hawknado, as she has an insane story about a guy that she met.

This Saturday, be sure to check out Glenn’s band, Windowpane, as they open for Randy Hansen (Jimi Hendrix Tribute Band) at the Historic Everett Theatre.  Click HERE for tickets.

This week we are without Glenn, but we are joined by our bud Levi Lyon from Lyon Pride Music, Chad from Two Five Trees Recreational Pot Shop, and Rich the bus driver to chat about Old School Night At The Dome...featuring: Busta Rhymes, DMX, E-40, Method Man + Redman, Too $hort, and more at the Tacoma Dome on 12/16!  Get info at OldSchoolNight.com.

This week was a fun episode as we run through alll the emotions...happiness, sadness, anger, insecurity...and we try and figure out why Anthony Kiedis of the Chili Peppers can not use a "T" when saying this.  Steve chats about his experience going to the "Collection Room" for the second time, Glenn has a hilarious story about a time that he was "Bad To The Bone", and The Rev leaves in the middle of the cast to go poop.  join us this Friday night (12/2) for Matt Koch's birthday party at The Tractor Tavern, as Windowpane and a bunch of great bands will be playing!

Today’s MigsCast is a fun one as we re-cap our experience with KISW’s “Live Day”.  This turned out to be a camp fire podcast as we hung with our friends from from Windowpane, Van Eps, Superfekta, Sons Of Mercury, Jar Of Flies, Outshined, and Klover Jane.  We somehow compared Pearl Jam drummers to sexual positions.  We also decided to play some Tom Petty songs!

This week is a GLORIOUS episode as Glenn finally brings in our nuts that Mama Hawknado got us! We chat about the most "paused" movies ever, check out an awesome new song by a great band from Tacoma - AntiHero, we obsess over a WWE song ("Glorious"), and chat about Live Day on KISW (which is happening next Tuesday).  We also chat with WWE/NXT Superstar Bobby Roode.  NXT TakeOver: Toronto is this Saturday on the WWE Network.  If you want to hear the interview, it starts at the 2 hour mark.

This week we welcome our bros in Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage in studio.  The fellas performed a few songs off of their awesome new record "Futures".  Plus we put Glenn on the spot once again to jam with the band, as they did an awesome Alice In Chains cover.  Get info on them here:  www.WOATW.com

This week the fellas re-cap Halloween at their respective homes, and then welcome Red The Stripper back!  Red is not only beautiful, but smart…funny…and is a marketing/branding machine!  Red has some awesome stories about back-stage at Little Darlings, and a story about how she was denied being able to board onto a plane because of what she was wearing (a t-shirt and pants!?!).  Check out Red on Periscope & Twitter (@Red_Stripper), and her blog: SeattleStripper.blogspot.com .  Also…we find out who Red would eat first if we were stranded on an island after a plane crash: The Rev, Migs, or Glenn Cannon!

This week the fellas talk about the old days vs. the new days when it comes to ringing someone's doorbell.  Both Glenn and Steve share ridiculous stories about vacuum cleaner sales people, and the Rev talks about his love of Egg Nog!  Steve goes into full detail about how he ended up at KISW, and the emotional rollercoaster that experience was.

This week we recap our Saturday night, as MigsFest went down at Studio Seven.  Glenn was not able to join us this week, but we did chat with Wyatt Olney from Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage about his experience performing at Migs Fest.  HUGE thanks to all of the bands (Windowpane, Ten Miles Wide, Klover Jane, Superfekta, Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage, and Mach Society) for putting on a night that all of us will never forget.  Major thanks to Levi Lyon and Lyon Pride Music for partying with us and providing a party bus for the night -- which was EPIC!  Big thanks to everyone that came out and packed Studio Seven to capacity...it was great partying with all of you, and a gigantic thank you to Glenn Cannon for turning a pipe dream on a past episode of the MigsCast into a reality.
