When Mike Hosking Breakfast last visited London, it was for the Brexit vote to decide whether or not the UK would stay in the European Union.
The country voted by a slim majority to leave, but two years later, that is proving a difficult task to achieve.
The European Union has warned Britain time is running out to seal a Brexit deal, to ensure London doesn't crash out of the bloc next March.
Its Brexit negotiator says no significant progress has been made since March.
But a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May says the "focus is on getting things right", rather than meeting a deadline.
CNN's Richard Quest told Mike Hosking things seem to be going around in circles.
"I wish I could say there was clarity, but the issues upon this thing was going to flounder remains exactly the same as they did two years ago."
Quest says Britain can't have an open Northern Irish border without allowing freedom of movement.
"It is the ticking time bomb which could destroy the negotiations, because, at the moment, it is impossible."
