As the buzz of new year pushes us into action, motion and goal setting, this isn’t always what our energetic bodies are ready for when we are still in winter and with little sun to boost immunity, we actually still need that slower pace for recovery and rest. We don’t give ourselves enough time for this!
And it takes practice, boundries and pushing back against the rush!!
This practice reminds you to do just that and whilst you are in a more restful vibration you can become more receptive, tuning in —instead of burning out and thats what really makes space for growth. Go inside. Be still. Listen.
So, don’t be too quick to rush out from everything that winter is trying give, learning how to come back into stillness will actually bring more energy when the real new year of spring comes to push us into action.
Let your body and mind keep resting and take this meditation as a reminder to sink into the winter that is still here, feel its support and let it recharge you. From that place of stillness we can then create space for growth.
You can keep practicing coming back to this habit of stillness, silence and attuning to your body to settle vibrations and hear beyond the noise. Being in more neutral time will give you the feedback that you seek or need.
