I have gotten some requests on Instagram in regards to Goals. Most of us are able to come up with a list of goals that we'd like to accomplish fairly easily. It seems that many people are seeking help with keeping the goals that they desire. Setting goals is just the first step, living with them takes more time. This episode helps you understand how you can turn your goals into a reality. For extra hands-on help, I have created a mini guide as a PDF for you to download and fill in. Continuing the talk on a real post-partum experience, and more things to consider in supporting a new mothers journey. What could be gently suggested, what could be extremely triggering. The reminder of how fragile and lonely this time can feel, but how big of a positive impact the right people surrounding you can have.
THE TALK. Postpartum is not only not talked about enough, it's not talked about in a raw enough manner. So many things change in the body and the mind going through the birth and beyond. There is such a lack in care and support for mothers once baby is in the picture. Not only do women have to learn how to become a mother, she also has to learn to mother herself with little preparation or conversation around it.
I wanted to talk about Pregnancy in a different light than we might typically be used to amongst family, or on social media. My pregnancy was not a beautiful experience for me and I wanted to remind anyone who might feel the same, that it is ok! We shouldn't have to always be talking about how beautiful and wonderful it is, if we truly aren't enjoying it. May this episode bring comfort to anyone who has felt alone for not loving their pregnancy and feeling like maybe something is wrong with them.
A Canadien Mother's experience giving birth in France just before the Covid lockdown. Everyone's birth story is unique and deserves to be heard! Let this episode serve as a reminder that although we are all living different lives, we are never alone. Listen as Martha handles the unknown with grace and trust in the divine. For more on the great divine you can follow her @divinealignmentwithmartha !
Enjoy!

Little "taches" that I felt no one warned me about having to complete before or after giving birth (in France). This Episode is meant to serve as a little reminder of things that can easily be forgotten during pregnancy.
