In the world of entertainment, Star Trek had exploded in the 1990s, having four films and three TV series on during that decade. Also, in the world of entertainment, kids' cable channel Nickelodeon had exploded in popularity as well, generating many classic shows; some are being rebooted for the 21st century. In this, the first of a two-part episode of The Minnesota Star Trek Nerd Podcast, Wes Huntington explains what it was like to live in the 1990s.
