Star Trek main title music review. All of the seven Star Trek TV series have a main title theme, some more majestic than others. Nevertheless they're a part of their respective shows. From The Original Series all the way to Star Trek: Discovery, these main title music themes set the tone and stage for what is come in the series. The Orville. Comparing "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" with "Cause and Effect". Both episodes, released 25 years apart share the same concept - a time loop where the hero starship (the U.S.S. Discovery and the U.S.S. Enterprise-D) is destroyed and time resets. These two episodes are highly regarded amongst Trek fans - especially "Cause and Effect."

"Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" commentary. The seventh episode of Star Trek: Discovery's first season drew comparisons with Star Trek: The Next Generation's fifth season episode "Cause and Effect" in terms of the time loop concept, which led to the hero ship - in this case the U.S.S. Discovery - being destroyed and then time resetting itself. "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad" is the latest Star Trek episode to be nominated for a Hugo Award.

"Cause and Effect" commentary. Considered by many to be one of the greatest time loop episodes of all time, Star Trek: The Next Generation's fifth season episode "Cause and Effect" deals with the Enterprise-D and how to get out of a temporal causality loop. The time loop concept would be repeated several times from this point onwards, even inspiring the first season episode of Star Trek: Discovery, "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad."
