God gave you the volition to choose how you want to live. If you fail to get with God’s plan for your life you ruin any chance for blessing in your life. If you have a subjective viewpoint in life you’ll have an unrealistic image of yourself. “He told this parable of those who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and viewed others with contempt” (Luke 18:9). You won’t see yourself as you truly are. Are you growing spiritually or are you starving? “Let he who boasts, boast in the Lord” (2 Cor 10:17).
