Leeza Cooper, recently crowned Ms Australia International 2023, is a full-time novelist, non-fiction author, international activist against domestic violence, motivational speaker, Sex Therapist and spiritual mentor.
Recently described by a journalist as ‘a woman where brains go to meet beauty’, Leeza, the mother of four adult children, spends half of her year in Sydney Australia, and the remainder based in the USA, where she travels the world promoting her books and addressing conferences or promoting the causes of victims of domestic violence.
She equips people with the tools they need to navigate their future as well as planting the seeds essential for survival….whether they’re women or (increasingly) men.
After a traumatic divorce, she was left with nothing, and all she could afford was a caravan in the middle of a field, where she lived for months with her four children. She was forced to clothe herself and her children in charity shops.
Leeza documented her downfall in an on-line book called “Sex In The Suburbs” which tells her story, as well as the stories of many other battered women and men whom she has counselled. The global success of Sex In The Suburbs encouraged her to become a full time novelist.
Leeza has also written guides for men and women concerning their marriages, affairs, and how to survive the rigours of modern life. She has also written a guide-book to raising teenagers, and a brave, sad, enlightening and humerus memoir called “My Shot Gun Wedding And A Horny Goat”.
Since the house-fire and the devastation of her assets and lifestyle, Leeza has risen from the depths of being homeless to her crowning as Ms Australia International 2023 and will be representing her country in Tennessee USA in July this year.
