  • What Nobody Tells You About Scaling as a Female Founder

Our Florida house went on the market in January. We expected it to sell in two or three months, and it sat for seven while my husband and I lived with a low-level anxiety we couldn't shake. That same year I committed to four City Girls cities and ended up canceling two of them.

This episode is about what I learned from both: when you grow, you need more support to carry it, and I didn't give myself enough.

    Episode Overview
I'm recording from my new office in Texas with a full behind-the-scenes update on the move, the business, and where everything is headed. I talk through why I take full responsibility for the City Girls cancellations, what it cost me to try to control timing I had no control over, and the piece most coaches leave out when they tell you to expand your capacity. I also share why I'm splitting my personal brand from The Mom Founders Table and what that means for you as a listener.

    In This Episode

    • Find out why our house took seven months to sell, and what the waiting taught me about the one thing I could control the whole time, which was how I responded.
    • Learn why the urge to check every box as fast as possible is a pattern I see in almost every client I work with, and how I caught it in myself this year.
    • Discover why holding more responsibility requires more tools, more resources, and more support, and how skipping that step is what leads capable women to break their own word.
    • Hear where everything is headed, from KKAI and my next book to The Mom Founders Table becoming its own brand with the podcast, the mastermind, and The Mom Founders Table Live.
    • Walk away with the question I now ask before I commit to anything big, and why answering it honestly would have saved me two canceled events.

  • Why Successful Female Entrepreneurs Feel Empty After Hitting Seven Figures

I spent my early 20s in and out of jail, drinking every night, with no vision for my life beyond making it through the day. This episode is the conversation I had on Bunny Young's Yes, And! Podcast, where I shared that story publicly and connected it to the work I do now inside the businesses of multi-six and seven figure women who have built something impressive and still feel like something is missing.

If you have ever hit a milestone you worked years for and felt nothing, this episode is going to make sense of that.

    Episode Overview

Bunny and I cover the full arc: where I came from, what rock bottom actually looked like, how radical responsibility became the foundation of everything I built after it, and why the women I work with are not struggling because something is broken in them. They are struggling because the business was built to run on their exhaustion and no one ever showed them another way. We also get into the identity work that has to happen alongside the operational work, why money is not the problem or the solution, and what it actually looks like to build a business that does not require all of you to keep running.

    In This Episode

    • Find out why hitting seven figures can feel emptier than you expected, and what that emptiness is actually telling you about the gap between the business you built and the life you wanted it to create.

    • Learn the difference between fixing the business and fixing the person, and why most high-achieving women have been trying to solve an operational problem with personal development and wondering why nothing is sticking.

    • Hear the story of my rock bottom, the moment I met my own eyes in the mirror after my third arrest, and why the glimmer of hope that showed up in that moment became the foundation for everything I built next.

    • Discover why radical responsibility is not about blame but about reclaiming your choice, and how that one shift changes what is possible in your business and your life.

    • Walk away understanding why a business that only works when you are exhausted and available around the clock is not freedom, no matter how much money it is making.

  • The Resentment You're Feeling Isn't About Your Spouse

If you have ever snapped at your husband for asking what's for dinner, cried in the car between school drop-off and your first call, or felt completely alone in a marriage where nothing is technically wrong, this episode is going to hit closer to home than you expect.

Dr. Ashley Anthony is a Doctor of Chiropractic, business owner, and mom of three who co-owns 100% Chiropractic in Sharpsburg, Georgia, alongside her husband, Dr. Zachary Anthony. She joined me to talk about one of the most under-discussed topics in the mom founder space: what happens to your marriage, your identity, and your mental health when you are running a business and a household and somehow still feel like you are failing at both.

    Episode Overview

We get into where resentment actually comes from, why the mental load is not just a productivity problem, what contempt does to a relationship over time, and how to start having the conversations that actually move things forward instead of just adding more tension. Ashley also shares her own story of leaving a marriage and rebuilding, and why she now helps women get clear on what they actually want before they make irreversible decisions.

    In This Episode

    • Find out why the resentment you feel toward your spouse is almost never actually about your spouse, and what it is really telling you about your own unmet needs and unspoken expectations.
    • Learn what the mental load actually is beyond the to-do list, and why carrying it silently for years is one of the fastest paths to burnout and disconnection in a relationship.
    • Discover the difference between contempt and conflict, why contempt is the number one predictor of relationship breakdown, and what to do the moment you notice it showing up.
    • Hear Ashley's framework for having the hard conversations without them turning into the same argument you have been having for years.
    • Walk away knowing the first step to take if you are feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or like you are carrying everything alone, and why taking it sooner rather than later changes everything.

    About Dr. Ashley Anthony

Dr. Ashley Anthony is a Doctor of Chiropractic and co-owner of 100% Chiropractic in Sharpsburg, Georgia, where she practices alongside her husband, Dr. Zachary Anthony. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University, with a focus on pediatric adjustments and nutrition.

As a wife, mom of three, and business owner, Ashley understands the demands of balancing family, health, and entrepreneurship. Through her work, she is passionate about helping individuals and families prioritize their health and build stronger, healthier lives.

  • A Conversation With My 10 Year Old About Business, Leadership, and Being There

This is not a typical episode. No frameworks, no strategy, no guest bio. Just me and my 10-year-old son Cameron on a walk, talking about what he wants to do with his life, what he thinks makes a good leader, and what he thinks moms who run businesses should know.

I recorded it because the conversation was too good not to share. And I think every mom founder who listens to this is going to feel something.

    Episode Overview

Cameron wants to start a business that helps kids in foster care feel less alone. He wants to go to them, play with them, coach them in sports, and spend time with the ones who remind him of his friend Dakota, whose family was once living in a cardboard box on the side of the road. He would play with Dakota every single day at school because he could tell something was off and he wanted him to feel less alone.

He also has very clear thoughts on leadership, honesty, budgeting, reinvesting in your business, and why moms who work until seven when their kids are already in bed might want to reconsider their schedule. I did not coach him on any of it. He just knew.

What hit me most in this conversation was how much he has absorbed just from watching. He knows that good leaders tell the truth even when it is hard. He knows that if you want kids to feel better, you have to feel okay yourself first. He knows that seeing a smile on a kid's face is worth a million bucks. And he knows that the time you carve out for your kids in between the calls and the commitments matters more than most of us realize.

    What You Will Hear

    • A 10-year-old's business plan for helping kids in foster care, including his thoughts on sponsorships, budgeting, and reinvesting revenue back into the programs instead of paying himself.
    • His definition of what makes a good leader, including honesty, kindness, self-respect, a good mindset, and the ability to help people understand each other.
    • A surprisingly clear take on why honesty in coaching matters more than just making someone feel good in the moment.
    • Why he thinks moms should find time between work to be with their kids every single day, and his very specific suggestion for how to make it work.
    • The moment he realized I was recording and immediately said, yes, put that on the podcast.

His message to the moms listening: find time in between work to spend time with your kids. Even if it is just a walk. Even if you have a call in a few minutes. They notice. They always notice.

  • What Your Personal Style Is Telling Clients About Your Business

You are the first thing people see before they ever read your website, watch your content, or hear your pitch. And if you have been putting your personal style at the bottom of your to-do list, this episode is going to change that.

Amy Salinger is a luxury virtual fashion stylist who has spent over 20 years helping high-achieving women build wardrobes that actually work for their lives. She is also a single mom by choice, CEO, and someone who genuinely believes that confidence can be created from the outside in.

    Episode Overview

We get into the connection between personal style and personal brand, why cleaning out your closet is the highest-leverage thing you can do right now, and how Amy's style adjective framework gives you a forever filter for getting dressed, shopping, and deciding what actually belongs in your closet. She also shares her outfit equation for taking the decision fatigue out of getting dressed every single day.

    In This Episode

    • Find out why Amy calls herself a confidence creator instead of a fashion stylist, and the moment in a styling session when everything shifts for her clients.
    • Learn the four-question outfit equation Amy uses to plan any outfit for any occasion, and why it works just as well for a Tuesday at home as it does for a big event.
    • Discover why cleaning out your closet is not about having less but about removing the mental noise that is quietly blocking you every time you get dressed.
    • Hear why online shopping should feel more like renting a fitting room than committing to a purchase, and how that mindset shift makes it actually useful.
    • Walk away knowing Amy's style adjective framework so you have a filter for every shopping decision, closet clean-out, and outfit choice going forward.

    About Amy Salinger

Amy Salinger is the founder of StyleMethod and a luxury virtual fashion stylist with over 20 years of experience, including 15 years styling clients in New York City. She works with high-achieving individuals to build wardrobes that are authentic, efficient, and aligned with who they are becoming. • Why Hiring Doesn't Fix a Business With No Systems

You hired someone to take things off your plate. Now you are training them, fixing their work, and somehow busier than before. The problem was never the person. It was the infrastructure they walked into.

This episode is a conversation with Aveline Elfar, founder of AE&Co Operations Agency, who has spent seven-plus years inside six, seven, and eight figure businesses rebuilding the back end so founders can finally step out of it.

    Episode Overview

We get into what it actually means to audit a business from the inside out, why most founders are solving the wrong problem when they hire, and how clean systems create better client experiences while giving you your time back.

Aveline also breaks down the difference between automation and AI, where most businesses are wasting money on overlapping tech, and the two things you can do this week to start getting hours back without overhauling everything.

    In This Episode

    • Find out the most common operational breakdown Aveline finds when she audits an established business, and why it has nothing to do with the team and everything to do with what the team was never given.

    • Learn why building the plane while flying it works until it does not, and what it costs you emotionally and financially when your infrastructure cannot actually hold the growth you are chasing.

    • Discover the difference between automation and AI, why most founders are paying for tech they are not using, and where the biggest quick wins are hiding inside tools you already have.

    • Hear the one question Aveline asks every founder before recommending a single system, and why the answer changes everything about what gets built.

    • Walk away with two practical things you can do this week to start identifying where your biggest time leaks are and what to do about them.

    About Aveline Elfar

Aveline Elfar is the founder of AE&Co Operations Agency, a boutique agency that builds custom systems, automations, and process infrastructure for health and wellness entrepreneurs and service-based businesses across North America. With seven-plus years in the field and a team of seasoned tech experts, Aveline's approach always starts with popping the operational hood before building anything. She is a homeschooling mom of two, pregnant with her third, and based in southern Ontario, Canada.

  • Why Your Delegation Is Creating More Work for You

You say you want your team to take more initiative. You say you want to be able to step away. But then you step back in, fix the thing, clean it up, and hand it back. And you wonder why nothing ever really gets off your plate.

This episode is about the hardest truth in entrepreneurship: the reason your delegation is not working is probably you.

    Episode Overview

This one goes deep into the difference between radical responsibility and over-functioning, why the most competent women in the room are often the ones carrying the most responsibility that was never theirs to begin with, and how rescuing your team is quietly training them to depend on you.

I also walk through a framework for sorting your responsibilities into four categories so you can stop doing the thing that is keeping you exhausted.

    In This Episode

    • Find out why the more reliable, resourceful, and capable you become, the more responsibility quietly gets stacked onto your plate without you ever consciously choosing it.

    • Learn the difference between owning your part and owning everybody else's part, and why most women who come to me are doing the second one while calling it leadership.

    • Discover why repeatedly stepping in for your team is not helpful, it is disempowering, and how it is building a business that literally cannot function without your constant presence.

    • Hear the four categories every responsibility in your business and life falls into, and how sorting them changes what you actually have to carry going forward.

    • Walk away with the one question to ask yourself before you step in and fix something, and why the answer will tell you everything you need to know about why your delegation keeps failing.

  • The Difference Between a Capacity Problem and an Alignment Problem

Most women come to me thinking they have a capacity problem. Not enough hours, not enough team, not enough systems. And a lot of the time, that is true. But underneath it, almost always, there is something else going on.

This episode is about the question most women are not asking themselves, and why the scorecard they are measuring their success against was never actually theirs to begin with.

    Episode Overview

This is one of the most honest episodes I have recorded. I get into the difference between a capacity problem and an alignment problem, why we keep building the same thing we say we want to escape, and what it actually looks like to stop optimizing a business you are not sure you still want. I also share a new set of questions to replace the inherited metrics most of us have been using without ever consciously choosing them.

    In This Episode

    • Find out the difference between a capacity problem and an alignment problem, and why getting the diagnosis wrong is exactly why the same patterns keep showing up no matter how much you change.
    • Learn why we can consciously want freedom while unconsciously building complete dependency, and the specific attachments that keep even the most self-aware founders stuck.
    • Hear the questions I use with private clients to identify whether their next move is an infrastructure fix or an identity shift, and why both matter before we touch anything in the business.
    • Discover the new scorecard I want you to use instead of the one social media and society handed you, and why revenue is only useful when it is creating something that actually matters to you.
    • Walk away with a set of reflection questions worth journaling on, including the one that will tell you almost immediately whether you are building from desire or building from fear.

    Join the Founders Table Mastermind

This is the room where we do exactly this work. We go deep into your infrastructure, your goals, and what you actually want to build next. Not just the tactics, but the internal operating system of the CEO behind them.

  • Behind the Scenes of the Mom Founders Table Mastermind

We built something that does not exist anywhere else. And this episode is me pulling back the curtain on exactly what it is, how it works, and why it was designed the way it was.

If you have been thinking about joining the Founders Table Mastermind, or you are just curious what it actually looks like inside, this one is for you. Episode Overview

This is a solo behind-the-scenes episode where I walk through every element of the mastermind, from the business assessment that happens before you even start, to the quarterly reviews, Telegram access, co-working sessions with my COO Brooke, the City Girls tickets, and the in-person retreat. I also share real testimonials from clients, including a woman who hit her second million in eighteen months while taking two full maternity leaves, and another who added a hundred thousand dollars to her income without adding a single hour to her plate.

    In This Episode

    • Find out exactly how the mastermind is structured so you know what you are walking into before you ever fill out an application.
    • Learn why we start every member with a full business assessment and analysis before the mastermind begins, and what that process actually tells us about where you are leaving money on the table.
    • Discover what KelseyGPT is, how my private clients have been using it, and why it was built to give you immediate guidance when you cannot wait on a response.
    • Hear the difference between the Advisory track and the VIP track, including what is included in each and how to decide which one is the right fit for where you are.
    • Walk away knowing exactly what to do next if you are interested, including the August 14th application deadline to be included in the welcome party call on the 26th.

  • The Shift That Happens When Mom Founders Sync With Their Cycle

I came home to snacks on my kitchen counter the other day. My husband had been tracking my cycle and knew I was a few days out from my period. That was the moment I realized this stuff actually works.

This episode is a conversation with Renae Fieck, who helps women use their menstrual cycle to grow and scale their businesses in a way that feels aligned instead of exhausting. Renae is a mom of three, a former occupational therapist, and someone who found her way to this work after a year that included a new baby, a pandemic, and her husband's brain tumor diagnosis, all at the same time.

    Episode Overview

We get into the four phases of the cycle, what each one is actually good for in your business, and why women have been trying to operate like men on a 24-hour testosterone rhythm when our bodies run on something completely different. Renae also walks through how to start integrating this without overhauling everything, and why even a 10% shift in your calendar can change how you feel about your business.

    In This Episode

    • Find out what is actually happening hormonally in each phase of your cycle and which types of business tasks your brain is literally wired to crush in each one.
    • Learn why the luteal phase, the one most women call their bad week, is actually one of the most powerful phases for content creation, business clarity, and letting go of what is no longer working.
    • Discover how Renae turned a 30-day live challenge she almost said no to into something that honored her cycle, showed up authentically, and worked, without any of the pressure she originally feared.
    • Hear the one question Renae has every client ask themselves daily that begins to shift everything about how they work, what they say yes to, and how they lead their lives.
    • Walk away knowing the micro shifts you can make right now, even if your schedule is fixed, to start working with your cycle instead of against it.

    About Renae Fieck

Renae Fieck is the founder of Your Cycle Advantage and The Flow Collective, and the author of Cycle Sync Your Business. She teaches women how to align their business with their body's natural rhythms so they can work less, make more, and lead with confidence. After building a business the way the world told her to and ending up exhausted, she discovered that working with her cycle instead of against it changed everything. She is a mom of three and on a mission to help women build the life and business of their dreams in a way that actually works for them.
