There’s a secret for getting off the emotional rollercoaster that running a business causes…

We all feel it- the ups, the downs, the highs and lows. And without a sustainable approach to the inside of your business, it can feel exhausting. But what if I told you the secret of entrepreneurship wasn’t trying to avoid these waves, but to learn how to ride them?

Don’t dehumanize your human experience. You have permission to feel. You have permission to pull back, and permission to hustle. The key is learning how to neutralize the way you show up regardless. 

Instead of falling back into comparison game, letting imposter syndrome win or letting these emotions rule you, here’s what you need to remember:

• When you realign with your humanness, you start to uncover your power as women in this space. 
• Seeing the potential you hold is key to letting the abundance flow into your business.
• Your business is a part of your human experience, so normalize the lows. It’s okay to be angry and frustrated….AND you can keep going. 

The more you embody this experience, and I mean ALL OF IT, the less isolated you feel. Reframe your mind to learn through each phase you are in. Because you, the CEO, will come out on the other side.

So today we are talking with Paula Maidens, a hiring and leadership coach for entrepreneurs scaling quickly. She helps build kick-ass and supportive teams so business growth is sustainable. 

Here’s what she says is key when bringing on a team:

• First, pause and simply reflect. Create a list of things you want to delegate and what values are important to you to maintain throughout scaling. 
• Become aware of what types of communication styles you are drawn to. Think about how you’d like to communicate to your team and how you’d like to be communicated with. 
• Take the hiring process slow. Take your time and trust that the right team will fall into place. 

When you are taking the steps to strengthen your business and take it to the next level, it will happen. You can grow, because you were meant to live out your purpose. 

And when your business starts to flourish, take it from me: There is nothing more powerful than having the right team in your corner.

Yup, I said it…And so did my kick-ass friend, Chana Ross! Not only is Chana a clinical director for pelvic physical therapy, she is also a life + business coach. She guides her clients to release perfectionism and find authentic success. 

💡 Today I am joined by Chana Ross, to discuss the importance of recognizing perfectionism doesn’t allow you to grow. Once you release this, you are able to take those first steps, regardless of the fear of failing, to build the life you desire.

For all of the recovering perfectionists out there, Chana encourages  you to remember:

• To grow you must take risks. If you are too worried about perfecting every detail, you won’t be able to make moves that excel your journey.
• You are enough right now. When you believe this, you are no longer in the headspace of micro-managing every step. Instead, you get to move freely.
• Perfectionism is a way to protect yourself, so give yourself grace. But know that you are damn powerful when you embrace every inch of who you are: your wins, losses, celebrations, and mistakes. 

If you need permission to not have to strive for that “A+” 110% of the time, here it is. You get to choose to retrain how you approach your life. And actively choosing your mind, body, and emotional self is choosing a life that isn’t controlled by expectations, but instead by compassion, abundance, and joy. 

So slow down, CEO. It’s okay to make mistakes, take risks, and choose new paths that guide you to a place where that spark of yours is able to burn brighter than ever before. 

It allows you to recognize that if it isn’t a fuck yes, then it’s a fuck no.
