Today on the Morning Edition, the Bear Creek Fire is still not contained and has burned more than 26,000 acres. Crews are focusing on protecting structures and homes as weather conditions get worse for firefighters.
Additionally, Governor Dunleavy has vetoed two bills: Alaska’s Payday Loan Bill and the REAA Fund for rural school districts. For both vetoes, the Governor said he is trying to reduce costs to the state.
