As I share my experience with closure from past relationships and how I got closure from my parents divorce, I want our listeners to know that closure looks different to everyone. Some seek it in others or themselves, some even avoid it altogether. Either way, there is pain that needs healing and I hope this episode helps you find that.

Vulnerability is all about opening the door for your real self to show up - and this is something I used to struggle with a lot, especially in relationships. To be vulnerable is also to open yourself up to pain, to harm and to criticism and there was nothing about that I wanted any part of. Today I speak about my experience with vulnerability and how I went from seeing it as a weakness to seeing it as my super power through my relationship with Aaron.

You might associate self love with self care, journaling, eating healthy, exercising, maybe even shopping - all of which are ways of practicing self love, yes. But do we really know what self love is? Today we talk about the ugly side of self love. The habits, the patterns and conditioning that causes us not to love who we are - this is the side we often turn a blind eye to because it is ugly. But I challenge you to listen to this episode with an open mind and have the courage to love yourself enough to change the ugly and embrace the honest and loving person that you really are.
My partner and I sit down and have a chat about how we dealt with the changes to our relationship after having a baby, how important it is to recognize your place in each others lives and the things we've learnt along the way. Highlighting how important communication is - we also touch on our struggles and love languages.
I wholeheartedly believe that a morning routine helps us set the tone for the day, allowing us to control our schedules rather than our schedule controlling us. Better yet - I believe who we are and our purpose can be found in our morning routines. Mindset, mindfulness and movement are the three core elements that can improve the way we start our day and these simple 5 steps will do just that. Get ready for your life to change, because this mindful morning routine changed mine!
Breaking those ties that keep us stuck in a negative state of mind can be difficult for anyone, but Dani from Rising Higher Coaching really is a force. Despite being a mindset coach, things haven't always been smooth sailing for Dani. She opens up about everything; how to rebuild your self confidence, how to rewire our negative thoughts and how to truly start showing up for our higher selves; even touching on her own health and confidence struggles. Today's conversation is a deep dive into what we think, why we think what we think and how we can better our life through our thoughts.
Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Jeanita Hosea and I wanted to create a safe space for anyone who wants to discover their higher level of self through vulnerability, love and your adversity. Lets share stories, have deep conversations and enjoy this journey together!
