This is the idea that becoming an expert at something takes about 10,000 hours of practice. But have you ever heard of where it came from?   It turns out that rule is largely based on the research of a man named Anders Ericsson. His book, Peak: Secrets from the new science of expertise, is one of my favorite books and I had to share it with you.
