Candice has packed a lot into life and we get a taste of that on this episode. Episode 14 - Aline Christ: A highly positive and welcoming counsellor on the joy of cakes, just. getting. up. in. the. morning., and accepting yourself. 

As the founder of  All in the Balance Counselling, Aline has pretty much done it all single-handedly. Aline takes us on a journey from being a Portuguese literature teacher (Apparently, there is more than Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist.) to many years in the male-dominated world of construction, to now being a counsellor on the Gold Coast..... all while being a single mum and setting an excellent example for her two daughters.

Keiko Sunaba: A Japanese Parkrun director on joining the legends club for marathon running, staying illegally in Australia, and smiling in the mirror first thing in the morning.

From stay at home mum and housewife to single mum....from having never run to running 10k then a full marathon, then 10k AND a full marathon. Keiko shares with us her story of always needing to find a way to overcome her challenges in order for her family to remain strong.

A Tokyo native, Keiko is a Parkrun organiser in Main Beach on the Gold Coast. She always has a smile on her face aa I'm sure you will see when you attend Parkrun.....  I likely will not be there.

Bruno Scalon: A adventure-loving Brazilian sales professional on being an "askhole", living "far away" on the Gold Coast, and the benefits of mentoring. Bruno started his career as a dental technology salesman helping his father's business. He moved to Australia with his wife and started the process of going from student, to citizen and homeowner. That is a difficult and amazing journey.

Bruno is a fine example of being professional, hard-working, positive, and..... I could go on and on.

He will inspire, I know. Also, he will become a great coach to many in the near future.

Episode 11 - Michele Sanders: A proficiency test teaching expert on how immigrants should respect and enhance their adopted culture, not just live in it, knowing her path in life from a young age, and the challenges and joys of being a parent.

Michele has a Gold Coast-based English exam preparation business helping international students pass said tests. She is super confident, has a great, positive outlook, and is strongly determined, all of which are qualities anyone would benefit from having.
