    1) The jury finds Alex Jones caused $4 million in damages to two Sandy Hook parents. Right-wing talk show host Alex Jones will have to pay the parents of a Sandy Hook shooting victim a little more than $4 million in compensatory damages, a jury decided Thursday, capping a stunning and dramatic case that showcased for the public the real-world harm inflicted by viral conspiracy theories. The award from the jury was far less than what the plaintiffs, Scarlett Lewis and Neil Heslin, had asked for. At the start of the trial, attorneys for Lewis and Heslin asked the jury to award their clients $150 million in compensatory damages. 2) The flickering neon sign reflects eerily off the aging, chrome exterior; a long smooth marble counter with spinning stools draws your gaze left and right as you enter; the checkered linoleum floor seeps under the rows of back-to-back leather booths enveloped by the rain-streaked wrap-around windows. You may think you've entered a typical American roadside eatery, but your experience here will be anything but ordinary. You have just stepped into the Bendix Diner, a staple in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey since the 1940's. It's no surprise that The Bendix can serve up a sizzling Burger with deep fried onion rings and a frothy chocolate shake. What is unique about this meal is the waiter who delivers it to your table – his name is John Diakakis, and he is blind.

  • Dr. Mother Love & Mr. Kennedy on current events, politics, sports, entertainment
    1) Members of Congress may soon be barred from trading stocks while in office as bipartisan support for a stock trading ban continues to grow. Across both sides of the aisle, more than 125 lawmakers have sponsored or co-sponsored at least one piece of legislation aiming to ban individual stock trading for members of Congress. A recent poll, by the advocacy group Convention of States Action, found that 76% of voters believe members of Congress have an “unfair advantage” in the stock market and only 5% of those surveyed said they approved of lawmakers trading while in office. 2) The Deshaun Watson saga continues. What does his girlfriend, Jilly Anais think or say about all this? One of the things that many have wondered about ever since the allegations first arose was how she was responding to everything. What precisely that means is anyone’s guess. Is Anais standing by Watson regardless of the accusations? Does she wish she had picked a man more like her father? It’s unclear. When news came down that Watson wouldn’t face any criminal charges they wore very provocative attire to celebrate.  3) Kansas said NO! Kansas was the first state to vote on abortion rights since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June. The vote preserves the right to an abortion in the Kansas Constitution. Whose next to say NO?  4) alex jones defamtion trial in TX Plantiffs seek 150 million dollars now his company has filed Bankruptcy so he won't have to pay up.

    1)  A racist employee at a Dillard's in Dallas calls a father a f&^%ing n-word in front of his 10 yr. old son before being confronted by him in a very graceful way. The shopper calmly explains the wrongs of the employee and says he should work to be better, not only for Black people but to everyone. The employee mentions that he'd worked at the store for 20 years. He was fired. 2) Can members of Congress do insider trading? It was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The law prohibits the use of non-public information for private profit, including insider trading by members of Congress and other government employees. 3) Mental Illness, an equal opportunity soul-stealing disease are we really ready to address this? When talking about mental illness, it’s important to distinguish between the loved ones and the disease” suicides, overdoses, law enforcement under trained in mental health. 3B) The Importance of a will (Prince didn't, left a mess) and being cut out (The Judd Daughters) 4) Losing Legends, Gaining Angels...Bill Russell, Celtic icon, Nichelle Nicole, Star Trek's Lt Uhuru, and Vin Scully, Dodgers Voice for many decades. • Dr. M. L. & Mr. Kennedy Where is our humanity? CEO Pay disparity,
    1) Why are drivers so enraged? Road rage incidents are rising across the country, and a recent occurrence in TX is one of the wildest yet. Nazly Ortiz, 40, and 34-year-old Benjamin Greene are being called a real-life Bonnie and Clyde after Ortiz allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at a car twice, with a 2-year-old boy in the backseat. The scary confrontation in Houston that was caught on video. The duo was quickly arrested by local police. Ortiz was charged with aggravated assault, and Greene was charged with assault.  2) From Daily Kos...Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito made a big splash with his first public remarks since eviscerating abortion rights in the United States. Alito’s comments—made at a legal conference in Rome—mocking the world leaders who spoke out against the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade drew the most attention, but he also offered a screaming warning about his intentions for future decisions. The Politics of the Supreme Court, isn't this supposed to be an apolitical branch of our Government? They have gone Crae Crae!  3) Nancy Pelosi visits Taiwan,1st in 25 years, and other Asian countries China is pissed, Why? 4) The founder of the United States' largest anti-sexual assault organization called on the NFL to appeal the 6-game suspension of Cleveland Browns QB, Deshaun Watson. Is it enough? 5) Chipotle closes a Maine store, and workers say it's because of a union drive. The shutdown was announced hours before a hearing on a possible vote to unionize the location, which employees said was understaffed. CEO makes 1,100 X more than any worker who makes and keeps them wealthy. Why is it too much to allow a union? GREED, POWER & GREED.

  • Dr. ML & The Rapmedium on full tilt! Housing crisis, Climate destruction
    1) What is the housing crisis? These are the historic and enduring shortages of affordable housing for a growing number of working Americans, which has driven rising housing costs and rates of homelessness across the country; and the catastrophic collapse of homeownership for many Americans. You know it's terrible when the super wealthy won't pay their staff a decent wage. 2) Warmer temperatures over time are changing weather patterns and disrupting the normal balance of nature. This poses many risks to human beings and all other forms of life on Earth. Hotter temperatures results in more severe and frequent storms. They cause flooding, landslides, destroying homes, communities, and cost billions of dollars. 3) Gen Z'ers want a work/life balance or are they feeling entitled to a big payday with little work? 4) Lizzo Changed Her Song Lyrics in Response to Criticism, Like a Queen. The immediate  was not quite as glowing as it was for the still inescapable bop “About Damn Time.” Critics clocked the artist's use of the ableist slur “spaz” and took to the internet with their very fair critiques.“It's been brought to my attention that there is a harmful word in my new song, ‘GRRRLs," “Let me make one thing clear: I never want to promote derogatory language. As a fat black woman in America, I've had many hurtful words used against me so I [understand] the power words can have. 4B) Beyonce did the same thing when it was brought to her and 11 writers' attention with her new cut with Drake was using a slur toward people who have life-changing issues with their health. Really that many writers? She also got backlash from Kelis' team about using/and or referring to her cut "Milkshake"

  • Dr. ML & Cool TLC ask the Question, "CAN WE EVER FIX STUPID?
This is in our home state, OH J.D. Vance would want women to stay with an abusive husband because he’s not sure divorce would make them or their children happier. Yes, J.D. Vance made this ridiculous claim without a moment's hesitation--he means it. It fits in well with Vance's general disdain for women, his opposition to the Violence Against Women Act, equal pay for women and of course his wish to have absolute control women's bodies, telling you when to reproduce, when you must have children and who you should love. Vance is a bottom-dwelling dictator-in-waiting, a power-lusting leech who sees bashing women (both figuratively and literally, apparently) as his path to power. The comical part about JD's talk is he decried how we "shift spouses like we change underwear," yet he still has the 45th's endorsement tweet pinned to the top of his page, The guy who had five kids with three wives, cheated on all of them quite publicly, his most recent one with a star while she was home with their couple-month old child. How totally not hypocritical of Vance....From THE Daily KOZ STOOPID They are GOING TO JAIL BECAUSE they're  STOOPID! Insurrectionists, 800 hundred and still counting one gets 6-8 years. Florida police sergeant charged after grabbing his fellow officer by the neck during arrest and it was on camera! STOOPID!  @ 3PM It's THE MELTDOWN SHOW hosted by The Rapmedium! • DR. ML & Rapmedian, discuss, bannon,10 yr. accused of lying, planet on fire
Bannon after the guilty verdict: ‘I stand with Trump and the Constitution’  Steve Bannon was both an architect and a cheerleader for Donald Trump’s attempted coup. He also threatened to go medieval on the Jan 6 committee probing the attack on the Capitol. “We are going to savage our enemies,” he promised. “We’re not playing games.” But when it came down to it, Bannon didn’t even take the stand at his own trial for contempt of Congress after defying the committee’s subpoena. The mother of the Ohio 10/y rape victim tells Telemundo's @MariaVargasPion that the child "is fine", and "everything they say about (Gerson Flores) is a lie." Yes, but she’s fine. Everything that they’re saying against him is a lie,” the girl’s mother told Telemundo from inside her apartment when asked whether the 10-year-old lived there. She also said she was not pressing charges against Fuentes. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL! Remove Manchin as EPA Chair before we all burn, or die of thirst.
