  • Indigenous people have fought to save our planet for decades we are ALL in this
Who are Indigenous peoples? Indigenous peoples are inheritors and practitioners of unique cultures and ways of relating to people and the environment. They have retained social, cultural, economic and political characteristics that are distinct from those of the dominant societies in which they live. The definition of indigenous is something or someone who is native to an area or who naturally belongs there. An example of indigenous are the Native Americans of the United States. (chiefly of living things) Born or engendered in, native to a land or region, especially before an intrusion. The Founder of Earth Day, Gaylord Anton Nelson was an American politician and environmentalist from Wisconsin who served as a United States Senator and governor. He was a member of the Democratic Party and the founder of Earth Day, which launched a new wave of environmental activism. In spring 1970, Senator Gaylord Nelson created Earth Day as a way to force this issue onto the national agenda. Twenty million Americans demonstrated in different U.S. cities, and it worked! Where do we go from here/... we are still using fossil fuel, the water supply is aniquated, our roads are torn up.

  • 420 National Weed Day! The decriminalization of pot, the Politics the medicinal
April 20 or "4/20" is the event in the calendar that stoners look forward to every year, the main celebration of cannabis culture. First established in 1971 , with large crowds gathering in parks to smoke marijuana and celebrities raising a joint to mark the occasion. The cannabis celebration day is now becoming more mainstream and commercial, as more people and businesses try and cash in on the industry. Recreational marijuana is legal in 18 states, Washington, D.C., and Guam. On Election Day in 2012, voters in Colorado approved a ballot initiative legalizing the recreational use and sale of cannabis, making  it first in the U.S. to do so.  18 states, D.C., & Guam  and legalize the drug in the next nine years as public support for legalization rose rapidly – About 66% of Americans favor the legalization of marijuana in the US. • Learned Helplessness What can we do to unlearn helplessness?
What is the concept of learned helplessness? Learned helplessness, is a mental state in which an organism forced to bear aversive stimuli, or stimuli that are painful or otherwise unpleasant, becomes unable or unwilling to avoid subsequent encounters with those stimuli, even if they are “escapable,” presumably because it has learned that it cannot ...They have “learned” that they are helpless in that situation and no longer try to change it, even when change is possible. How about you want to quit smoking, but you feel you can't, you want to lose weight, tried every diet plan known to  you  becoming passive in the face of traumadifficulty learning that responses can control traumacan increase in stress levels The equivalent of a plane’s worth of people still die every day’: If you wear a mask on a train or plane, while others don’t, will it protect you from COVID-19?

  • Dr. Mother Love & Mr. Kennedy discuss current events
A federal judge in Florida issued an order on Monday voiding the national mask mandate covering airports, planes, and other public travel.  U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle concluded that the masking regulation enacted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last February “exceeds the CDC’s statutory authority,” and that its mandate was “arbitrary and capricious.”  Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate or aggressively dominate others. What's going on in your home? Now that we have that foundation set, let’s see what’s going on with you and your kids. Here are five questions to ask yourself and then you can decide if there’s room for improvement: Do you call your children or your spouse names such as stupid, crybaby, ignorant, useless, a failure, good for nothing?Laugh at your children or your spouse when any one of them gets hurt or fails at something? Spend most of your at-home time either ignoring your family members or yelling at everyone because you are tired, stressed, etc? Beat your kids rather than spank them? (Do you know the difference? If you answer “No” to this part of the question, it’s not a good thing.)Do you withhold affection as a form of punishment? (i.e., “I’d love you more if you weren’t so annoying.”) So many of these kids end up doing all kinds of rotten things to get any attention (good or bad) from their parents. In some cases, this leads them to do stupid things like skipping school, picking on other kids (aka, bullying), fighting, stealing, etc. Also, keep in mind that most juvenile suicides and just as bad, school shooters have been bullied on a regular basis.

Ed “NJ Weedman” Forchion has a zealous history of fighting and documenting the inequities in the cannabis industry for over three decades now.  As one of the first Black activist in the movement, dating back to the early 90's, Forchion has spent over 1200 days in prison, fighting for the right to smoke and sell pot. Forchion asserts that new laws are being set to criminalize growers and small legacy vendors like him, while awarding billion-dollar contracts to corporations for the sales, distribution, and marketing of the plant. Forchion has been vehemently retaliated against by the powers that be and his battle with politicians, the police, the courts, and even the DEA are all public record.   Now with a marijuana themed empire based in Trenton, NJ and Miami, FL, marijuana mogul, activist and gangapreneur, Ed “NJWeedman” Forchion, is blowing smoke into higher realms. Forchion is announcing his NJWeedman NFT Collection during Miami Tech Month on the heels of the Miami NFT Week conference. The collection drops on 4/20, the internationally celebrated cannabis holiday.  Forchion will mint three different collections on the Rarible NFT Marketplace In the past, Forchion has been vehemently retaliated against by the powers that be and his battle with politicians, the police, the courts, and even the DEA are all public record. “With my storefront, NJWeedman’s Joint in Trenton, now owned and operated by my daughters, and The Joint of Miami, the cannabis friendly art and music lounge, under the direction and ownership of my son and niece, I have more time on my hands to expand and pursue different interests.  So, I’m making the leap into NFT’s as a viable means for fund raising. NFT art is all the rage right now and I’ve had several inquiries for NJWeedman NFT’s. Given my long-standing legacy, it seems like a great next adventure!”
