  • When you have to go with Covid? McDonald's under fire, Stimulus spending
It might not be polite to talk about, but when nature calls, bathrooms are a necessity. And health officials say, public restrooms, used by lots of people, could be dangerous because of COVID-19. There are some precautions to consider with the coronavirus still circulating if you need to make a pit stop.  Workers and their families at McDonald's Corp's Chicago restaurants have filed a class-action lawsuit against the fast-food chain that does not seek money for sick staff, but compliance with health guidance such as providing clean face masks. The strategy was unsuccessful against a meatpacking plant but experts said it could work against McDonald's and other companies, and a business group warned about a flood of cases."The damage done by inadequate safety practices is not confined to the walls of a restaurant but instead has broader public health consequences," Nearly one-third (30%) of people said they used their stimulus checks to pay bills, according to a survey released this week, another sign that Americans are struggling to make ends meet, particularly with more than 38 million people filing for unemployment since mid-March. Those bills — including for cellphones, utilities, cable TV and rent — are the No. 1 priority, even more than purchasing essentials and “relief spending” on apparel, televisions, video games, sporting goods and toys at Walmart

  • Dr. ML & Mr. Kennedy The fight of Science vs Politics, Cheating our soldiers,
The 45th said he has been taking hydroxychloroquine and a zinc supplement daily “for about a week and a half now”. He spent weeks pushing the drug as a potential cure for Covid-19 – against the advice of many of his administration’s top medical professionals his stupid example could send more stupid people to misuse the drug, the WH PS said  “Tens of millions of people around the world have used this drug for other purposes,” including malaria prophylaxis. The drug has the potential to cause significant side effects in some patients and has not been shown to combat coronavirus.  The more than 40,000 National Guard members deployed to states to help in coronavirus relief may end up one day short of qualifying for federal benefits under the Post-9/11 GI bill once President Trump’s executive order deploying them expires on June 24.to prevent them from reaching the 90 days of duty credit needed to qualify for early retirement and education benefits. Deployed in late March, on June 24 most will hit 89 days of duty credit.  National Guard members must be enlisted for 20 years to qualify for a pension at age 60, but for every 90 days served in a federal emergency, they are able to speed up retirement by 3 months and qualify for reduced tuition at public universities. The guardsmen have helped states with medical tasks and conducting elections.

  • Dr. Mother Love & Mr. Kennedy discuss the thrashing of the 45th over the weekend
Obama Torches the 45th on COVID-19: ‘A Lot of Them Aren’t Even Pretending to Be in Charge’The former president told the 2020 class, “You should be very proud. Everybody who supported you along the way is proud of you — parents, grandparents, professors, mentors, aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, second cousins, cousins who you aren’t even sure are cousins. Show them some gratitude today.”Obama then pivoted from light-heartedly speaking about school rivalries sharing this special time in their lives together virtually, and spoke about how the present abnormal circumstances have increased the “burdens that black communities have historically had to deal with in this country.” The White House fired the State Department Inspector General late Friday, according to a State Department spokesperson and a senior congressional aide -- the latest senior U.S. official involved in the impeachment probe into President Donald Trump to be forced out by his administration. The inspector general, who acts as an independent watchdog responsible for investigating the agency, was investigating Secretary of State according to the chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Eliot Engel, D-NY.

McConnell claimed Monday @ a campaign event for the 45th, this WH had not been schooled on preparing for a pandemic at the scale of the novel coronavirus. ”McConnell says he was wrong on Obama's pandemic playbook  “I was wrong,” McConnell said  “They did leave behind a plan. So, I clearly made a mistake in that regard.” The 69-page document contained hundreds of recommendations for dealing with many of the problems plaguing the nation’s coronavirus response — Lying Thursday afternoon, WH press secretary "du jour" McEnany said the “Obama-Biden plan that was referenced was insufficient,“ &  the 45th's administration had prepared its own pandemic report and exercises last year.“In other words, the Obama-Biden paper packet was superseded by a President Trump-style pandemic preparedness response plan,“ she said. His father calls it a "Modern-Day Lynching" of Ahmaud Arbery as 2 GA individuals arrested, Charged With Murder and aggravated assault in his death. GA  does not have hate crime laws. It has taken  72 days. 2 Georgia prosecutors who recused themselves from the high-profile shooting death case of an unarmed black man are now themselves the subject of an investigation. Attorney General of Georgia Chris Carr said Tuesday he’ll look into the handling of the Ahmaud Arbery case in its early phase by Jackie Johnson & George Barnhill, who both stepped aside from the probe because of ties to one of the shooters.
