In addition, he is a poet, artist, educator, and dancer. Nick’s life has focused on utilizing his abilities and knowledge to influence those around him while acting as a positive representation of the educational, artistic, and the Cystic Fibrosis community. Felicity Huffman, will plead guilty in the college admissions scandal, according to court documents made public Monday. The case is considered the biggest college admissions cheating scandal ever prosecuted.Huffman, the 56-year-old "Desperate Housewives" star, is accused of paying $15,000 to a foundation in an effort to boost her eldest daughter's ACT score. She is one of 33 parents charged in the scandal."I am pleading guilty to the charge brought against me by the United States Attorney's Office," Huffman said in a statement Monday. "I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done."

A 29-year-old man on Thursday was charged with murder in the death of rapper Nipsey Hussle in South Los Angeles. Eric Holder was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts of attempted murder in connection with the injuries of two people at the scene, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office announced. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday. Holder killed Hussle over a personal matter outside the Grammy-nominated rapper's clothing store on Sunday. Holder had come to Marathon Clothing multiple times that day to talk to Hussle before returning with a gun and opening fire, police said.

Arnedra Jordan works as a public health consultant with both Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County and with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. At Komen, Arnedra manages the Circle of Promise initiative, a program that addresses the barriers and disparities and breast health needs among African American women. Through her leadership, Komen Los Angeles has successfully provided over 3,000 mammograms at no cost to women in need in the last two years. Donna L. Halper, Ph.D. is an associate professor of Communication and Media Studies at Lesley University, Cambridge MA. We all have that one person who makes us smile and long for times past. For my mom that person was my great-grandmother, Bertha Mae, for me it’s my mom.
