Hot Mess to Mindful Mom: 40 Ways to Find Balance and Joy in Your Every Day @ 2 Ali Katz knows. She's been there. She has two spirited boys, Adam and Dylan, now 11 and nine. She's the voice of every mom saying, "You are not alone."Ali does so by being an open book. She shares her ideas by sharing her personal experiences. She doesn't pretend that she is perfect - as a mom or a person - but she has spent the last few years becoming stronger in both areas. Her philosophy is that her keen awareness helps her to figure out what doesn’t work. She can choose differently the next time she is in a similar situation, with hopefully better results. This is one of the ways that she has gone from “hot mess” to “mindful mom.” www.hotmesstomindfulmom.com @ 3 JENNIFER JONES AKA MUMMERELLE JONES (Play) DANIEL TOLBERT (Eugene) 57 Years Ago 4 Sat so Millions Could Stand of PERIPHERY by Ed Simpson and Directed by celebrity director/actress Lorey Hayes. The docudrama Periphery is based on the February 1960 Sit-ins at the Woolworth's lunch counter in Greensboro, North Carolina, by young college freshmen, which galvanized the civil rights movement in the United States.

  • @ 3 Norman Bush award winning renowned poster photographer
Norman Bush, award winning renowned poster photographerAfter serving in the United States Air Force between 1952-1956, I left my hometown of Louisville, KY, to follow my dream of being an actor. In New York, I attended The American Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1959.I got acting parts in Off Broadway theaters and in 1967, became a founding member of the then new Negro Ensemble Company. I toured the U.S. and Europe with them.I have worked extensively Off Broadway in movies, television, and commercials. In 2005, I was honored to receive the NAACP and City of Los Angeles Trailblazer Award. My other passion is photography, particularly of the posters I saw pasted on outdoor walls on the New York streets that I walked every day. I was stunned by the “impromptu art” I saw, all by anonymous artists. In 1964, I bought my first camera, a Leica 111B. During the next year, I started shooting walls. In the beginning, most of what I shot were advertisements for movies, plays and jazz concerts. But over time, I began to see a change in posters; the late 1960’s and 1970’s gave rise to protest art.During these 50 years, I have concentrated on small torn paper posters; I call these ripped posters “atmospherically developed.” The torn images that might have started out large have become, what I see as abstract art. They were all paper images adhered to the walls with paste, which breaks down over time and in all sorts of weather. As the paper breaks down, each poster develops into a beautiful abstract form.

  • @ 2 Horrific Child abuse of 13 kids, What is FISA? Paying rent 5yrs old?
Thirteen siblings, believed to be the Turpins' biological children, were found malnourished and shackled in a home in Perris, California, on Sunday after a 17-year-old girl escaped and called 911. She was so emaciated that responding officers said the teen "appeared to be only 10 years old."Before the Turpins moved into their home in Perris around 2014, they lived in Murietta, California, and near Fort Worth, Texas. The mother of a University of Alabama student who received national scorn for her racist rants on video said she agreed with the school’s decision to expel her daughter.“This is not a reflection of how she was raised,” Jill Barbera, mother of Harley Barber, 19.. “She’s just degrading herself and it breaks my heart. I hope someone can look at this and learn. I don’t want anyone to feel what I feel.”   A mom has admitted to charging her daughter rent, despite the fact that her daughter is just 5 years old. There is currently a four-page memo circulating in Congress which details abuse and misuse of government authority under FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Service Act. On Thursday, the House Intelligence Committee voted in favor of a motion to circulate the memo to every member of the House. The vote went along party lines, with all Democrats voting no on the motion.

  • Dr. Mother Love & Mr Kennedy on POTUS, SCOTUS, GOTV, Loneliness is killing us
What the HE double hockeys happened in Singapore? US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met on June 12, 2018, in Singapore in the first summit meeting between the leaders of the two countries. The two sides signed a joint communiqué following the summit. Following their summit on the resort island of Sentosa in Singapore, US President Donald Trump and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un signed an agreement that “reaffirmed firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.” But the agreement is a repeat of North Korea’s previous, illusive promises on denuclearization, Seoul-based analysts said, as it lacks specific measures to ensure Kim surrender his ultimate guarantor of security in a complete, verifiable and irreversible manner.  For the aging population, loneliness is more than a state of mind – it is an emerging risk factor that has implications for personal, economic and societal well-being. A range of stakeholders, including business leaders, medical professionals, governments, advocacy groups and social service organizations, has a significant interest in preventing, identifying and addressing the root causes of loneliness. Without countermeasures, older adults face continued detachment from the mainstream, even as their numbers grow.
