What really classifies a cowboy?IMDB synopsis "A divorced father and his ex-con older brother resort to a desperate scheme in order to save their family's ranch in West Texas."Music this month is brought to you by the heavy-rock offering, Mason Pace Band, from Boca Raton, Florida! 1 hr 21 min - The Power of the Dog (2021)
New year, new theme, same pod! Flex on 'em! We're back with January 2022's theme of "westerns"...Jeff failed to specify, so he gets what he gets! Join us as we review the 2021 Academy Awards Best Picture front-runner The Power of the Dog (which is a western, no doubt, it's just a western about "western" things that probably shouldn't be in a western film, but this is a Jane Campion film....so....FLEX ON 'EM!) starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Kodie Smit-McPhee, and Jesse Plemmons. Come for the review, stay for the ridiculousness that is Jeff laughing at the most inopportune moments. Don't ever take him to the river while there's operatic music playing...
IMDB synopsis "Charismatic rancher Phil Burbank inspires fear and awe in those around him. When his brother brings home a new wife and her son, Phil torments them until he finds himself exposed to the possibility of love."

This week...in the midst of Martial Arts month...we thought we'd continue our mini-hot streak of reviewing fantastic films with the 2000 Jet Li "classic" Romeo Must Die, which also stars Aaliyah (RIP), DMX (also RIP), Delroy Lindo, Anthony Anderson, and Isaiah Washington. Tune in to find out why Jeff hates nudity - specifically boobs - and stick around for a bit of sampling by the artist Dirty Jeff. It's a five-episode month, so strap in.
