Donna sure does love The Muppets and she decided to take us through her favorite Muppet movie of all-time: The Muppets Take Manhattan. Chris and Carlos have similarly fond memories of Jim Henson's beloved band of misfits and none of them can remember a time when they weren't a part of their lives.
They discuss the differences between the films & TV shows produced when Henson was still alive and the ones that followed after his death, Donna has some issues with the lyrics of Miss Piggy's love ballad, Chris is surprised that the supporting cast is largely absent for most of the movie's running time, and everyone does a Kermit the Frog impression at some point. Other topics include: the live-action Muppet Babies sequence and the cartoon that followed, Chris' not-so-irrational fear of Miss Piggy as a child, what to do when you see a rat, what NOT to do when a woman says no, what happened to The Muppets in the late 90s/early aughts, and the most recent attempts at recapturing this property's former glory.
