About Dr. Tim Earley:

Dr. Timothy Earley obtained his B.S. in Biology from the University of Scranton in 1994.
He then obtained both a B.S. in Visual Science and a Doctorate in Optometry from the
Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998. After graduation, he joined the Medina
Vision and Laser Centre, where he served as a therapeutic optometrist until December
2020 when he joined Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons. He spent 23 years as the vice
president/secretary of Medina Vision Centre and was the director of human resources.
Dr. Earley has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of age-related
macular degeneration (AMD), dry eye and ocular surface disease, co-management of
cataract and refractive surgery, and the fitting of multifocal and specialty contact lenses.
Reflecting his commitment to public health, Dr. Earley is the Clinic Director of the Bright
Eyedeas Vision Clinic. At Bright Eyedeas, high school students enrolled in the optical
technology/visual sciences program work with Dr. Earley to provide no-cost eye
examinations and eyeglasses for patients in need. He also participates in InfantSEE, a
public health program designed to ensure that vision care becomes an essential part of
infant wellness.

Dr. Earley is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio
Optometric Association. He is also a national speaker and consultant in the areas of
specialty contact lenses, macular degeneration, and practice management. He is a
consultant for Alcon and a member of the Practitioner’s Visiting Alcon (PVA) faculty. Dr.
Earley serves as a KOL for Notal Vision, and is currently on the Speaker Bureau and is
a KOL for Maculogix and MacuHealth. Dr. Earley has been published in Optometric
Management, Advanced Ocular Care, and Review of Optometry, and is a COPEapproved continuing education lecturer. He currently contributes a Business Strategies
column for Optometric Management and serves on its editorial advisory board.

When not seeing patients or consulting with industry partners, Dr. Earley enjoys
spending time with his wife, Dr. Andrea Earley, and his three children. He enjoys the
outdoors, hiking, golfing, and gardening. He has a small flock of chickens and hopes to
expand his hobby farm in the future.

About Dr. Moshe Mendelson:

Dr. Mendelson has been a clinical investigator for FDA contact lens studies. He is currently an Adjunct Professor for the New England College of Optometry, and has taught students from various colleges throughout his career. Dr. Mendelson is a leading optometrist in the field of Orthokeratology/CRT overseeing one of the busiest Orthokeratology/CRT practices in the nation. He has devoted his practice to this field. Over the last 30 years

Dr. Mendelson has fit thousands of patients with Orthokeratology/CRT contacts and achieved the designation of F.I.A.O., Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology. Dr. Mendelson is one of only a few doctors to obtain this title.

Joe Boorady, O.D., F.A.A.O. is a veteran in the eye care community with over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as Global CEO of Eureka Technology Holdings, LTD  and Euclid Systems Corporation.  Prior to Eureka, Dr. Boorady was the VP, Ocular Surface Disease at Johnson and Johnson Vision. Prior to Johnson and Johnson Vision he was the President and CEO of TearScience, Inc. which was acquired by Johnson and Johnson Vision in Sept. 2017. Before joining TearScience, Dr. Boorady was Senior Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing at Zeiss Meditec, Inc. Dr. Boorady has spent over 25 years in the ophthalmic industry as an eye care professional, educational leader, entrepreneur and corporate executive. He has clinical experience as the founder and owner of several primary eye care practices in New York and New Jersey. He was the Vice President for Clinic Affairs and Executive Director of the University Optometric Center of the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. Prior to his most recent position at SUNY, Dr. Boorady was Director of Continuing Professional Education, delivering eye care education to optometrists and ophthalmologists in over 20 countries, Director of Managed Care for eight years, Founding Director of the University Eye Care Network, IPA. Dr. Boorady has an O.D. from the SUNY-College of Optometry Class of 1993 and in 2010 he became an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.

About Dr. Sheila Morrison:

She studied at Pacific University College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry and completed a Masters Degree in Vision Science, with a research focus on scleral contact lenses and specialty contact lens design. Dr. Morrison went on to be awarded placement to a highly competitive residency in cornea & contact lenses, which she also completed at Pacific University and the Portland Veteran Affairs Hospital.

Her academic and clinical accomplishments are well renowned in the eye care world and she appreciates being regularly invited to lecture internationally about specialty contact lenses and myopia control. About Dr. Dwight Barnes:
Dr. Dwight Barnes is the co-owner of Cary Family Eye Care, along with his wife Kelly. He is also the director of their Myopia Control Clinic, where he has built a high volume myopia control practice. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and Southern College of Optometry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (FAAOMC) and lectures frequently on ortho-k and myopia management.

A lot of parents have difficulty to understand that just because they have Myopia, that doesn't mean their children will. However it's proven that genetics is one factor, and there are some significant others like amount of time spent near and far from a screen, education levels etc. I've had 15 years in my practice talking with parents about the importance of their children having regular eye exams and making them aware of the technological advances in this field.
