It's been a year, but we're back - and we're back because of a tip off. A suggestion that we might look at an intriguing case from the early 1990s and see where it takes us.
And as it turns out, it proves to be well worth investigating.
For more information on the man we are looking at. There's a great podcast here:

We've found ourselves focussing on a series of horrific crimes perpetrated in Belgium. A crime spree that involved a very tall man - A man known as The Giant by the Belgian police. We needed to know more about this man to see if there was any potential link to the Gentleman. There was one person who we could turn to; A journalist who has been covering that case for over 20 years - and it's a fascinating story.
We are on the lookout for Giants, and we've found a 6'5" man who is acquitted of murder, with striking similarities to the Gentleman, but that all depends on what happens to him afterwards? And is he the only giant we need to be taking a much closer look at?
We need to catch up on the victims of the Barbel, we take a new approach to looking for potential people who may be the Gentleman with positive results, and the investigation takes a European turn.
We're back on the case - We learn more about isotopes and Iain makes a very intriguing discovery.
We have two men in our sights as our search for the Gentleman of Heligoland continues. David Martin, the Australian millionaire who went missing in 1992 and David Krueger, the 6'5" German man missing from Canada - But how can we rule them in or out?
Things are moving quickly in the investigation. New clues, new science and we're on the trail of two new potential victims
In the first of our mid-season updates - German police release a very significant scientific finding that changes their thinking on exactly from where the Gentleman may have originated. But there might be a fly in the ointment
In the final episode of Season One, we discover that the skull may be able to tell us far more about the victim's physical appearance that we first thought. Something which may eventually be vital in identification. And, as the first season draws to a close, we pull together some loose ends and our thoughts on the case so far.
