With Utah's state convention happening this week, we decided to look at some of the dumbest election laws in the United States. From the 17th Amendment all the way up to Maine definately not joining the stupidest election movement. As promised, we have a special treat for you all this week. Carolyn Phippen, running for Senate for Utah, joins us in studio. We have a great conversation covering everything from Israel to potential legislation to try to "REIGN" in the power of the federal government as well as just chatting about life and faith. After having talked to various candidates as a delegate for Utah, Trevor has picked up on a few things. There's also some info that hasn't been shared in the news that runs VERY contrary to what Utahans are being told by Governor Cox regarding illegal aliens or "new Americans" as he puts it. Also a proposal for something that might help with some of the issues of issues and illegalities congress finds never being prosecuted is put out there to ponder on as we may have a guest on later that can share greater insight on if that's something constitutional or not or even if it's a good idea. We have a special treat for you this week. With the election season now getting into full swing, we are working to get as much information from as many candidates as possible. Utah being our base of operations, our focus will stay there in an effort to help as many people as possible make the best informed decision about the candidates for the convention and on to primary election. These interviews are, by no means, endorsements of the candidates, but to provide a more relaxed, long form venue for candidates to better explain some positions they have and just to act as another tool to be used to help people vet the candidates.

In studio with us this week is John "Frugal" Dougall, running for Utah's 3rd congressional district. Having been in Utah's state legislature and, currently, Utah's state auditor, he knows his way around how government spends (and wastes) your taxes. We picked his brain on a handful of important issues and had a great conversation hashing out more than just talking points but also what real and feasible solutions could look like to help get our country back on track.

We had a standard show kind of mapped out but then a bunch of dots connected together for Trevor. So because of that, we get to take a good long hard look at a black pill centered around the southern border and stretches all the way out to Haiti and Ukraine. With Democrats unabashedly driving progressively to socialism and the Republicans finding every excuse possible to not hit the brakes, it's hard to not look at it all as one big uniparty.

The Constitution of the United States worked so well because it was created for a specific people. People who were capable of governing themselves did not need an endless list of laws from a governing body to dictate how to live their lives. The people of the early United States were so united and capable in their moral and religious standing that the rest of the world took note and tried to copy what was done here. Truly fixing EVERYTHING we rightly complain about can only begin once we start turning back to those morals and religion that gave us the greatest country even with all her flaws.
