The Naked Apple

Sicknesses and various celebrations have kept us away for a couple of weeks. However, we come with gifts! Gifts of correcting the record from our last time speaking about the Air Martials. Gifts of ever increasing regulations on even some of the most mundane of things. Gifts of silver linings that have a small chance of coming to fruition, but when constantly barraged by crap, a little silver goes a long way. Thanks for all of your support!

After stuffing our gullets with turkey and other delicious things, we figured there's no better way to get back into the swing of things than by learning about why air martials aren't flying on flights anymore. Or seeing more and more about how the Biden administrations doesn't give a dam about energy. Or by looking at possibly the greatest tax code change in the country. All these just deserts and more for this week's post tryptophan experience.

It's a week to be thankful and we're thankful you picked us to be a part of it! We delve into some of the reasons why "green" energy just isn't feasible as a reliable replacement to coal and oil. Everything from the environmental costs of solar panels and EV batteries and the impact of these vehicles on our roads. We also look at evidence that seems to point toward oil being a far more renewable and potentially greener solution than digging up heaps of earth to build an electric car battery. Thanks for all of your support!

You can always trust a Democrat politician to do something progressive. Honestly. It's the Republican politicians you need to watch out for because you never know when they'll do something incredibly... stupid. Yes, this week's bushel is all about the wonderful things given to us by the Republicans these last couple of weeks. Everything from Nancy Pelosi levels of spending to turning your car off remotely with the flip of a switch. See how Mike fares in a vaccine themed pop quiz. Afterwards we look at a handful of proclamations that should remind us of why we celebrate Thanksgiving and maybe give their suggestions a chance seeing as how there seems to be no political way to right the ship.

We've been out for a few weeks because of life things, unfortunately, the rest of the world didn't take a break either. Laugh with us as we venture through the last few weeks of stories of everything from high heels and high crimes. Jokes abound and frustrations stir as we dive back in to the dumpster fire to see what hot new items are stenching things up.

With the world on fire, probably more than usual, we took some time to look at the presidential hopefuls. We largely base our comments and criticisms off of what we see on each candidates website while also adding in what we've seen from them from memory. We stuck to the top candidates of Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Robert Kennedy Jr, and Joe Biden. Each of their sites can be found below for you to follow along and to do some homework on who you think can best captain our ship as it sails down the river Styx with fewer and fewer exits being visible. Thanks for all of your support.

Ever wonder what happens when you bite the hand that feeds you? Hamas and Gaza are finding out right now. It turns out, they rely heavily on Israel to deliver aid from around the world among other things. The US and Israel are getting flack for not allowing Gaza refugees into their countries, meanwhile places like Jordan and Egypt get to keep their gates locked without criticism. Some updates on the Speaker of the House and the super ultra conservative Supreme Court quietly making a ruling on "ghost guns" just in time for Halloween.

Bidenomics is working!!! At least, ol' Uncle Joe seems to think it is. We barrel through the wonderfulness that is Biden's economic policy to see just how well it is working. Surely it can't all be so bad that even Democrat voters are wavering in his and the Democrat party's support... Surely...

With Columbus day just around the corner, we thought it'd be fitting to share some information about him. The favorability of Columbus has shifted negatively, especially over the last couple of years and we aim to correct some of the claims against him. While in no way a perfect man, his contributions to the discovery of the Americas do deserve some praise and criticism of some of his actions should be rightfully placed and not blanketed across his entire character. Sail with us as we partake in this Slice of History on Christopher Columbus.
