Nate welcomes SUNY Oneonta Women’s Basketball Coach, Daphne Thompson back to the podcast. This time she is joined by assistant coach, Tom Moriarty. They talk about the current state of college basketball after the pandemic and look back on Tom's nearly 50 year coaching career. A trip down memory lane to discuss Tom's legendary OHS teams is also a big topic.

Nate chats with 2017 Sidney alumna, Ariyahna Bernard. Ari is now a 2-sport athlete at Ithaca College playing field hockey and track and field. She has excelled at throwing during her college track career. Ari shares her recent experiences with mental health and tells us what she has learned from the struggles she has been through.

Nate catches up with South Kortright alumna, Ashlei Kenchen. She is a 2002 graduate and was a 3-sport athlete for the Rams. She is widely considered to be one of the best female athletes in SK history. Ashlei scored 1,327 points in her basketball career and led her team to a S4 Class-D title during her senior season. She went on to a stellar college career at Fulton-Montgomery CC and now lives in Houston, Texas.

Nate welcomes Andes alum, Stanley Andersen to the show. Stan played his high school soccer at South Kortright and is the Rams all-time leader in goals with 86. He also handed out 60 career assists. Stanley now plays at Castleton University in Vermont. Hear about his time at SK plus much more!

Nate sits down with Franklin Boys Basketball Coach, Skylar Thompson. Skylar has previous experience as an assistant coach for the Walton Football team and had a stellar athletic career at Oneonta High School. The guys talk about his experiences at FCS and also look back on his playing days with the Jackets. 

Nate welcomes back Oneonta grad, Graham Wooden to the podcast. Graham is joined on this episode by his older brother, Bryce Wooden. Graham currently plays basketball at Mansfield University. Bryce graduated from SUNY Brockport where he played football, and now works at SUNY Oneonta. The guys talk OHS sports, give college advice and much more!

Nate welcomes in retired G-MU coach and athletic director, Jim Johnson. Jim coached for 36 years with a majority of his time devoted to baseball and girls basketball. He has over 600 combined victories between the two sports. Jim's teams won several TVL titles and made seven total appearances in the Section IV championship game. 

Nate sits down with Sidney superstar athlete, Peyton Mosher. Peyton is a 3-sport standout for the Warriors. He is committed to play baseball next year at SUNY Cortland. He just had a fantastic spring football season at quarterback where he had 23 rushing touchdowns and 11 passing touchdowns. A great young man and role model!

Nate chats with Oxford standout athlete, Madalyn Barrows. Madalyn is a sophomore, 3-sport star for the Blackhawks. She is one of the best up-and-coming basketball players in the area. In her spare time she trains with her dog, Ty, to participate in dog agility competitions around the state.
