Nate sits down with Scott Whiteman. Scott is the Sports and Recreation Director at Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown. He specializes in training local athletes at the high school and college levels. He has worked with hundreds of basketball players including standouts like Liz Millea, Tyler Bertram, Laycee Drake, Jack Lambert and many more.

Nate chats with Roxbury alumna, Kaelie Van Loan. She graduated in 2014 and was a standout athlete for the Rockets, excelling in soccer and skiing. Kaelie talks about her love for the outdoors, especially hunting. She tells us about her experience shooting a bear and what it's like to be a female hunter. 

Nate hangs out with G-MU grad, Hunter Lockwood on this episode of the podcast. Hunter graduated in 2018 and helped lead the Raiders to the TVL basketball title in his senior season. He also joined the 1,000 career point club during the championship game. The guys talk about Hunter's favorite basketball memories and we find out what he is up to today.

They talk about the recruitment process and what it's like to play a demanding position like quarterback. Ethan is a very religious athlete and tells us about how he lives his life based around his faith.

Nate sits down with Oneonta alumna, Taylor Colone-Microni. Taylor now plays basketball at SUNY Morrisville. They look back on her time at OHS where she was a 3-sport athlete and excelled in basketball. Taylor is incredibly open and honest in this episode. She talks about her experiences being an openly gay athlete and how she has dealt with losing her mom at an early age.

Nate catches up with longtime Unadilla Valley coach and teacher, John Jackson. John has 29 years of experience and has played a big role in building the UV basketball program. They talk about John's kids, Andrew and Kaitlyn. Andrew was a 3-sport star for the Storm and now plays college basketball at the University of Rochester. Kaitlyn made a deep run on the American Idol TV show and is a talented musician and performer.

Nate connects with Afton Superintendent, Tim McNamara. They discuss the current state of high risk sports and why Tim is so passionate about getting local athletes to play again. They dive into his background, his coaching days and his work with several standout track athletes. He also updates us on his son, Jonathan who is a talented high jumper at Sidney High School.

Nate welcomes Delhi Girls Soccer Coach, Matt Albright to the podcast. Matt has helped transform the DA program into a local power. They have been a dominant force in the MAC league and also won a sectional title in 2017. He talks about his time coaching track for the Bulldogs as well.
