Health Minister Dr joe Phaahla is scheduled to be in Limpopo this afternoon to oversee progress in the process of identifying bodies in the bus accident that occurred last week Thursday at the Mmamatlakala Pass. The bodies of the victims are expected to be repatriated to Botswana as they were citizens of that country. The only surviving victim who is 8-years-ols is still at the hospital. The Minister now joins us on the line to give us an assessment of how the process is unfolding and also the condition of the young victim….

We hear from the legal expert. Following the Gauteng High court’s decision to strike the urgent interdict application by National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula off the roll. You may recall that last week, the speaker launched an application seeking to prevent the state from arresting her. This follows corruption allegations levelled against her during her time as Defence Minister. Judge Sulet Potterill found that Mapisa-Nqakula would have substantial redress in the main application which is expected to be heard on the ninth of April this year and therefore found the matter before the court was not urgent.
