Over the past few weeks, we have been having discussions with various political parties, focusing on their economic policy proposals and today is no different as we are joined by Brett Herron, who is Good party’s Secretary General and Member of Parliament. During its election manifesto launch, the Good party unveiled a 10-point plan that it says will stop the suffering and fix South Africa for everyone as it seeks to correct the structure of the economy. Among other things, the party promises to introduce a labour-intensive comprehensive urban management programme which aims to provide massive employment opportunities, while at the same time developing a skills base in critical areas of maintenance and urban management.
