The release of the unauthorised biography of Action SA leader and former mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba has been met with controversy and questions. The publisher of the book has reportedly withdrawn due to information they say they only learned after the book was done. So what exactly is going on with this book and what does the withdrawal by the publisher mean going forward? Senohe Matsoara's legal representative, Kagisho Moruri has told the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court that his client has spent a considerable period of time in jail. He is one of five accused charged with fraud, arson and defeating the ends of justice for allegedly helping convicted killer Thabo Bester to escape from prison. The group is applying for bail. Moruri says Matsoara is being held at Goedemoed prison which is outside Bloemfontein and makes consultation difficult and he also believes that the state does not have a water tight case against his client. City of Tshwane Mayyor, Cilliers Brink was chased away today by angry residents in Hammanskraal. The area has been hit by a cholera outbreak that has claimed 15 lives, while more than 100 people have presented cholera symptoms. The city issued a warning yesterday, telling residents not to drink tap water as it worked on a plan to contain the outbreak. Water tankers have been sent to the area. The cholera outbreak death toll in Hammanskraal has risen to 15. The Tshwane municipality yesterday released a health warning, urging residents not to drink water from the taps. Water tankers have been delivered to the area as the city tries to deal with the outbreak. Over 30 people were hospitalised this past weekend.
