Domestic workers do so much for us - they keep us safe and in comfort but many of them still remain underpaid, overworked, harassed and exploited. According to the fourth annual SweepSouth report, domestic workers who are not on the SweepSouth platform earned between R2, 614 and R2, 916 a month in the past year, which fell below the minimum wage increase as of March 1, 2021.
