We’ve got another guest this week!! Give a big NDK welcome to another long time listener and Dana’s Dad, Roger!!

Let’s get to know our guest! The people want to know!! Where is he from? First jobs, cars, we want it all!! As he mentioned first, and for those watching, you can see his guide cane, Roger explains he is visually impaired. He has a genetic condition called choroideremia, and explains how it all came to be.

Roger tells the funny story of how he met his bride and how he almost lost her immediately by laughing at her when she asked him out. Roger talks about his love of cars and the cars he’s been lucky enough to own!

Dana then talks about some other favorite childhood memories with her dad from snowmobiling, to trailer days and the classic dad game of ‘who sings this?’. She also talks about how Roger has raised her to be an independent woman, showing her she don’t need no man!

This lone wolf starts off the show by revealing his dreams of opening a night club that’s entirely denim. The name? Club Denim! Walk with NDK as we explore the scotch guarded dreams of Club Denim.

Clinton, just like us here at NDK has the affliction of garbage blowing in his face. We’ve had a ton of rain hit our little town and blew off the downspout and flooded his basement. Another brotherly bond that is sweeping the town is the new garbage rollout. It’s been a rough few weeks and Clinton is going full Frank Costanza and has got a lot of problems with this rollout!

Speaking of garbage. Nathan was taking the garbage out at work when POP goes his knee-oh!!! He checks his knee and a giant V like dent om it, and the next day, it's GONE!

We want to say RIP to the band Boston’s lead singer Tommy DeCarlo who passed away this week on March 9, 2026. Not so fun fact, Tommy is not the only lead singer of this band to pass away on this date!

We’ve all seen them, couples who have joint social media accounts cute or cringe?

Car keys, Nathan is up to some sketchy business. After snapping his key in the ignition, Nathan gets a quote for a new key from the dealership. Like you’d imagine it’s crazy expensive. Then after a quick search he clearly ‘found a guy’ who does it for cheap.

We take it back to the good old school days. Which classes were our favorites and which ones we hated!!! We find out both NDK’s had to go to summer school! And speaking of hating we might have also hated the same math teacher in high school.

There was a lot to talk about this week. Dana got invited to the movies. When someone asks you to see Nirvana, The Band, The Show, The Movie. What do you think you’re going to see? A documentary about Nirvana, right!? NOPE!

Now over to Nathan, he was at a birthday party this week that sparked some interesting topics and questions like, at what age are you a ‘kid of’ a decade? Example if you were born in ‘89 are you a kid of the 80’s? Or would you be a kid of the 90’s? NDK weighs in on the great debate!

The next question sparked by this birthday, on the ride to the party the SUV they were in had a DVD player but no DVD. What’s that about?? You’ve got a DVD player but no DVD!? It begs the question if your vehicle had a DVD player in it… what DVD’s would you have in the car?

Let's talk about last night. NDK has some stories to share!!! First off Dana gets a little too lifted if ya know what I mean. Then BANG on the door and the neighbour is there asking if she smells smoke!?!? Obviously panic ensues. Leading to the fire department coming to check on all of the neighbours. Of course the cute one has to check hers out, right after letting one rip!!

Nathan and Janine head out for an adventure to see Nine Inch Nails in concert. Going down was fine, coming home was a whole different story. Now, Janine being the good wife she is offers to drive home. While Nine Inch Nails brought down the house, Mother Nature brought the ice. Seems to me like they were in a similar situation one year ago!

We are in the middle of the Olympics (at the time of recording) we were 11th in medal standing. Canada is not doing so hot. What it IS getting hot is the curling rink. Sweden’s Oskar Eriksson accuses Canada’s Marc Kennedy of cheating.

We were talking games earlier and Nathan was thinking of two of his favorite games, Scene It and Trivial Pursuit w DVD. Obviously Nathan kills the movie and music section. Just loving the interactive TV games.

Dana’s got a confession… a brain fart she’s pretty embarrassed about. One of the songs from her beloved City and Colour was used as an alarm clock ringer for years! Which leads us into reviewing alarms throughout the years.

Before recording tonight, Dana had to stop by at her folks. Her mom said that she ran into Nathan‘s mom and she joked about the hemorrhoids from the previous episode. So it was the perfect time to ask the burning question on everyone’s mind, did Dana‘s mom know that that was male genitalia and not hemorrhoids!? Tune in to find out the answer!

Imagine yourself at home, and there's a weird and obviously terrible noise coming from the basement. Your furnace is on the fritz and tonight is supposed to be subzero! You get someone in, they fix it but something else is wrong! Oh, and they can’t get the part, until tomorrow… of COURSE! Tale as old as time and of COURSE this happens to Nathan!! Why wouldn’t it, on the coldest night of the year since 2015!?!?

After having a random "adulting" thought, Nathan decided he is going to paint some of the walls in his basement. As much as it is cool… he says never again!! Adulting am I right!?!?

Update from Canada… it’s still cold. Last week we commented on the cold and Canada was like hold my beer. Nathan’s loving it!! Going out for a winter rip! But what he HATES is traction control and whoever decided it was a must have feature for cars!!
