This episode primarily explores the surface of language and culture in perpetuating the cycle of invalidating our own cultures and traditions and replacing them with those of the coloniser. We need to observe the way we move and interact in order to start with the process of unlearning the toxic ideologies imparted during colonialism.

The way that we have been brought up really plays a role in how we function in society. With that being said, the process of socialisation has aided in normalising problematic behaviour in our cultures and traditions. We need to start to recognise those patterns and try to work towards ways of improving the functioning of our societies. We cannot continue to support ideologies that continue to suppress us and further entrench our society intro more traps.
