LET'S DO THIS!!! For our exciting 50th podcast episode, we're tackling the BIGGEST debate amongst comics fans: Marvel vs. DC!
Scott, Chris, and Bryce break down movies, tv shows, video games, and more in this epic discussion of the industry's two biggest publishers of superhero adventures! It all leads up to the final debate about the comics themselves. Who will win? Who will lose? Will our opinions even matter at all? Probably not!
And don't forget to give us a review on iTunes today in honor of our 50th episode! We are counting on you guys to crash iTunes with all your kind words. If you have ever been entertained by this show in any way no matter how briefly, please consider leaving a review for us. We'd really appreciate the support!
But anyway, who do you think wins in each of the categories we outlined? And are there any more categories we should have discussed? Let us know on Twitter: @nerdsync
Gather 'round, everyone! We're going to the mystical comic book trivia cave and exploring some majestic quizzes!
First up, Scott puts your Jimmy Olsen knowledge to the test with a quiz about Silver Age comic book covers. Next, Chris brings some trivia about heroes and villains that relate to the natural world. Bryce closes the episode with a quiz about obscure villains with two-part names that everyone fails at.
What was your score? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
It's pretty standard fare when we see superheroes beating up villains in comics or movies, but we're starting to see a bit more of heroes vs other heroes. We want to know why is that?
Today, we're discussing the reasons why we think we want to see Captain America take on Iron Man in Civil War, or Batman versus Superman in some other movie whose name I can't remember.
Is it because we like to see the script flipped around so that there's more uncertainty in who will win? Is it because we like to watch our favorite heroes be pushed to the absolute edge? Or is it simply because we like to watch conflict between two parties who we understand well, and heroes are just the only ones who get a lot of character development?
As always, let us know what you think on Facebook and Twitter!
Fellow comic book YouTuber Sal from the channel ComicPOP drops in this week to talk about how he got started writing his own comics! We discuss things like finding and working with talented artists, the daunting task of writing the actual script, and much more.
We're also talking about what got him into comics growing up, how he started his YouTube channel, and coming up with the perfect names for the different shows he produces. It's a terrific episode, and I hope you enjoy it!

Comic books are full of superheroes will extraordinary powers, but there is also the power of simply being a comic book character. There are endless tropes and clichés in the world of comics, and we're bringing them into the real world!
Things like splash pages that tell you when something important is happening, having perfect photographic recall of past events in a third person perspective, and, of course, the famous comic book retcon. And even just little stuff like people having alliterative names, or having amazing costume repair skills.
There are many powers that every comic book character has without even needing to be bitten by a radioactive spider or exposed to gamma rays. We're breaking it all down on this week's NerdSync Podcast!
What comic book trope do you think would be interesting to have in real life? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
We're searching our respective headcanons and workshopping some fan theories surrounding comic book movies and tv shows!
Is Falcon really a bad guy? Is Thor's hammer sentient? Do the Tim Burton Batman movies exists in the same timeline as the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy? And most importantly, is Flash his own grandfather?!
All these questions and more will not be answered on today's NerdSync Podcast, but we will talk about them as if we have the authority to address those theories.
Do any of our theories make sense? Do you have a theory of your own? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
We're taking a trip to the trivia orchard and plucking ourselves some fresh comic book quizzes! (Just ignore how odd that was)
Chris starts us off with a quiz about songs that reference comic book characters. Scott follows it up by testing everyone's knowledge of the various acronyms in the world of comics. Lastly, Bryce finishes up with a quiz about the many good, bad, and often weird romantic relationships between comic book characters!
Also, explore the bizarre but very true story behind the time when Jimmy Olsen married a gorilla! Oh, Jimmy Olsen. You are the Silver Age in a nutshell.
How well did you score? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
If you have a piece of trivia you want to send us, please do so at [email protected]!
We're creating our own 'What If' and 'Elseworlds' stories about our favorite comic book characters! These are basically just stories that we made up that we think would be awesome, but would probably never happen since they would change up characters and entire worlds too much. But hey, it's fiction. Anything can happen!
We've got an interesting Superman story involving his permanent death as the world's greatest hero, and another about the idea of him never making it off of Krypton in the first place. We've also got some fun Spider-Man stories about the radioactive spider that bit him as well as the idea of him becoming a super villain. And, of course, we've got some fantastic and dark Batman stories that dive into his psyche and his ability to kill everyone if he wanted to!
All this wouldn't be complete without a wonderful guest, so of course we're welcoming back one of our favorites, Mr. Sunday! He's the man behind the Mr. Sunday Movies YouTube channel and one of the hosts of the very popular podcast, The Weekly Planet.
So yeah, let's get right into it!

What are some 'What If' stories you'd like to read? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
This week we're joined by Joel Daly from the popular YouTube channel and podcast ComicBookCast! He sheds some light on how he got started on YouTube and what it's like working with a whole crew of people from around the world without actually meeting all of them in real life!
He and Scott also discuss how reviewing comics is different than reviewing any other form of media, whether or not comics are even still considered to be "nerdy" or "geeky", and their thoughts on the upcoming Ant-Man movie as well as the direction DC is taking with their own cinematic universe.

We went to the 2nd annual Marble City Comicon and talked to some awesome people! Bryce interviewed everyone from voice actors, Power Rangers, and cast members from the hit show The Walking Dead! We also close today's show with an interview we did at last year's con with the wonderful comic book artist George Perez.
