The latest film by Marvel Studios is the much hyped Avengers: Age of Ultron! With the 2012 Avengers film breaking records and being almost universally loved, how will the sequel stack up? Well let's freaking talk about it!

We've assembled our own team of Avengers from around the YouTubes comprised of Ricky from Stewdippin and Chris from Csandreas to help us break down this movie. We'll give you the stuff we absolutely loved, the stuff we think could have been improved upon, and everything in between on this Giant Size episode of the NerdSync Podcast!

We're talking about the amazing action from the opening sequence, the end battle, and of course the Hulkbuster fight. We also discuss the much needed character development for Hawkeye, Hulk, and Black Widow. And naturally we have to talk about the villain of the movie, Ultron himself, and the whimsical yet still terrifying demeanor he has throughout the film.

Plus we're also touching on how this movie sets up for future installments in the Marvel Cinematic universe like Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War. And of course we have to talk about the other newly introduced characters of the film, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and the Vision. Especially the Vision. He's kind of the best!

Scott, Chris, and special guest Ron from the YouTube channel Binge Watchers sit down at their respective mics to talk about the amazing performances of the cast, the balance between Matt Murdock and Daredevil, the lackluster final costume, the outstanding fight scenes, and much, much more!

  • 34: Is DC "Edgier" than Marvel?

Warner Bros. CEO said that their films will be "edgier" than Marvel's movies. SHOTS FIRED! Eh, not really, but it does raise a question about what DC plans to do with their movies that would make them stand out from the hugely successful Marvel films. Are Warner Bros. and DC just planning on making their movies darker and more brutal, or do they have a bigger trick up their sleeve?

We're also talking about the recent news that Batman: Arkham Knight received an M for Mature rating, signaling that the game will have a much more gruesome tone than the previous installments. With scenes depicting torture and killing innocent people, do you think this game will will take things too far, or is this perfectly appropriate for the world of the Dark Knight?

  • 32: Print Comics vs. Digital Comics (feat. VariantComics)

It's a classic debate: Physical paper comic books versus digital comics. Curling up on the couch smelling the ink on the pages as you flip through your stack of new comics, or scrolling through panel by panel on your tablet or phone loaded with your entire library?

Arris Quinones from VariantComics returns to the podcast to discuss the best arguments for both scenarios, from the community and sharing aspect of printed comics and trade paperbacks to the accessibility and convenience of the digital medium.

There are pros and cons for both sides, but whether you download, stream, or buy physical copies, we're just glad there's a solution for comic readers of all kinds!
