“The lopsided access to space afforded by reusable launch systems means placing not only larger and more capable satellite constellations into orbit, it also means being able to target and remove the constellations of others from orbit. In the rush to replace lost satellites, the nation able to launch cheaper and more often will have the advantage - an advantage currently residing with the US.

The prospect of placing armed weapon systems into orbit adds additional danger to this already lopsided balance of power in orbit, creating an equally lopsided balance of power back on Earth.”

- The recently release 2025 US National Security Strategy is being misrepresented as a "shift" in US foreign policy, with claims the paper does not cite Russia or China as major threats and instead seeks to focus on the Western Hemisphere;

- However, the entire paper is a blueprint for not only continued confrontation with both Russia and China (as well as Iran and beyond), it seeks to enlist and expand what it calls a "burden sharing network" to do so;

- While the paper doesn't name Russia and China directly, it constantly refers to taking actions against "adversaries" obviously meaning both Russia and China;

- The paper is an updated continuation of the post-Cold War "Wolfowitz Doctrine" through which the US seeks to maintain global primacy while preventing the mergence of any rival or bloc of rivals;

The US has once again proposed what it calls a “peace plan” amid its own ongoing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine.

The contents of the proposal are irrelevant. The US does not seek peace in general, and certainly not with Russia specifically. Instead, and what previous proposals likewise represented, this is an attempt to freeze the ongoing conflict, rebuild Ukraine’s armed forces - and if possible - move Western troops into Ukraine itself to create a bufferzone possibly forcing advancing Russian forces to stop.

- The US has once again changed the status of terrorists of its own creation to open allies with the head of Al Qaeda in Syria (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham aka Jabhat al-Nusra), Abu Mohammed al-Jolani (now “Ahmed al-Sharaa”) recent visit to the White House;

- The new narrative includes US-al-Jolani cooperation to “fight” the so-called Islamic State, a pretext to maintain US military forces in Syria well into the future, ensuring the survival of the nascent terrorist-led client regime;

- The narrative change reflects past US pivots where Al Qaeda was hailed as “heroes” during their war with the Soviet Union in Afghanistan in the 1980s before being rebranded as terrorists turning them into a convenient, global pretext for US military interventions from Africa to Asia and everywhere in between (including Afghanistan);

- Having used Al Qaeda and its subsidiaries/adjacent organizations including the so-called “Islamic State,” as both proxies and a pretext to invade, occupy, and overthrow both the Iraqi government from 2003-present and Syria from 2014-present, the organization and its leadership including al-Jolani, are being transformed into open allies of the US for use in a much larger campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran, and Iranian-friendly militias across Iraq;

While some analysts have mistakenly concluded U.S. escalation toward Venezuela represents a "retreat" from Asia or even Eurasia, and a transition from pursuing global primacy toward carving out an American "sphere of influence," the U.S. is much more likely attempting to complement its continued encirclement, containment and confrontation with both Russia and China by eliminating one of their more vulnerable allies—Venezuela—in a bid to escalate rather than withdraw from Washington's ongoing war against multipolarism.
